Manny is going to rotate the QBs. He doesn't want Florida to be able to prepare but he's not fooling anyone. Kosi or Jarren is hitting the portal in a week.

I guess Manny’s a total tard and instead of him and Enos consulting and picking the QB they think gives them the best chance to win and excel, they’re going to use some brain dead criteria, like squat numbers or race.

These idiots don’t realize this is a crucial moment in both their careers, that their professional futures are on the line.

I’m not saying they can’t get it wrong, because sometimes coaches just choose incorrectly, but these two guys come across as intelligent, analytical and tactically aware - they’re picking the guy that gives them the best chance to win. That’s their only criteria. Not some other bullshlt like race. Period.

It’s one day but I want to say something these guys are evenly matched QBs they all do some things well that the other doesn’t. There is not a single all around stud QB that can do it all in that group. I’m mentioning this because it’s not gonna be that clear and it’s going to be a Judgement call.

I agree and that scares me. None of the three seems like he could be a top-level QB.

The argument of an SEC front pertains to weight more than talent. Florida is a much heavier team in the trenches because in that conference they run the ball 40 times a game.

Uf isn't that big. Their starting d-line is listed at 263, 304, 275, 257.

I for one am excited about everything I am reading except the OL. They better choose the QB that makes the best reads the fastest, because who ever wins the position at QB is not going to have a lot of time back there.

I don’t know what to think about the OL. Nor do I know how to project how they’re going to perform first game, or future games. Just hoping our new OL coach can make a difference.

This was reported 2 days ago in the Miami herald.
▪ One UM off-field football official said even though N’Kosi Perry was named quarterback MVP of spring ball, that shouldn’t be overstated and the job is genuinely wide open, with the first few weeks of fall camp to determine the starter.

Just because perry was named mvp doesn’t mean he leads for the qb job. It’s a legit competition and just because martell started off fall camp as 1st team doesn’t mean he’s the guy either. It simply means he outperformed the other QBs during the offseason program, nothing more and nothing less

And this not anything new.

Yeah we are bigger at both end/dt and at linebacker in front 7 than uf. Hill posted yesterday he was 255.

I have to say I agree with this because scaife is the only one athletic enough to neutralize speed rushers and reed is the definition of road grading guard that just bulldozes you all over the field.

Miami starts classes on Monday, August 19. Last day for late registration is August 28th. That's later than most other schools including FSU, UF, etc in Florida. A few SEC schools start later.
