Honestly, the more I looked at this stuff, the hungrier it made me to see us prove you don't need toilets that can wipe your *** to win titles. Just sayin
Besides, looking at those "luxurious" facilities makes me think of that scene in Scarface when he first talks about the new boss:
"That guy's soft. The booze and the concha tell him what to do."
My uncle is an Oregon alumni and booster/donor, he is not a fan of this stuff because of the bold above.
To the board that creams when they see this stuff, Oregon wasn't having success because of the facilities. It helps with recruiting (to kids influenced by this BS) but weights don't lift themselves.
Weights don't lift themselves but neither do kids that chose not to go to Oregon before they got all these facilities. No Eau that this doesn't help the program

Something seems to be missing in all those photos. Can't put my finger on it.
Having all that stuff is nice, but what is a 20 million dollar football facility going to give you that a 10 million dollar facility can't. At some it all becomes cosmetic and doesn't benefit the football program. Sure it might pull a couple recruits here or there, but their extra $10 million isn't giving them some big advantage over Miami or any other program.

I mean its Oregon.... the only thing you can do there, in the off-season, is find a marijuana connect (which might be a recruiting pitch lol). So they have to do what they have to do to recruit.
Miami doesnt need all that.... Miami just need to win.

Back in 2005, Portland had 7.4 strip clubs per 100,000 residents, while other centers of sin, Las Vegas and San Francisco had 5.8 and 2.2, respectively. So it seems that Portland was the number one strip club champ nationally. But then, in 2006, the small town of Springfield just outside Eugene dared to challenge the title. The opening of Springfield's fifth strip club, Phil's Clubhouse, bumped the hamlet up to 9.3 strip clubs per 100,000 residents. And guess what? The state senator representing Springfield is Bill Morrisette, the senator featured in this week's article who's pushing the measure exempting adult stores from Oregon's free speech definition.
But also, Morrisette informed me that Springfield now has SEVEN strip clubs, which means Springfield (pop. 58,000) now has 12 strip clubs per 100,000 residents which means they are totally kicking Portland's ***.
