Yeah it makes sense for Miami and FSU to be in the SEC because the schools are in the Southeast and it's the Southeastern Conference. Also, there's no reason UM, FSU, and UF shouldn't play each other every year. That's what the fans want to see.

That's why college football needs a commissioner, like the NFL has. Restructure the conferences by geography and by rivalries. No reason Texas A&M shouldn't be playing Texas every year, no reason Nebraska shouldn't play Oklahoma every year, why Michigan shouldn't be playing Notre Dame, etc.

UM has better coaching, better running backs, better quarterback, better offensive line, better wide receivers, better linebackers, and better special teams than UF. That's this year.

As a program, we have more national championships, more conference championships, more heisman trophy winners, more players in the NFL, and not to mention a winning record vs UF.

I would think coming to SFL and playing football would be a high priority for any FL school...to keep a recruiting presence. What are your thoughts?

The 9th game is going to happen and if it does the Miami game will go I think the fans would prefer every game be a big game but it doesn't make sense from an AD and business perspective. You need a certain amount of homes games a year.

From a coaching perspective no way Muschamp wants to play 9 games in the SEC plus FSU and then add Miami that would be the hardest schedule in the country every year.
Next year the UM game is probably UF's 5th hardest game while UF is UM's most difficult game.

UF doesn't need it from a recruiting stand point. If we win in the SEC and continue to send good recruiters like T Rob and Joker (laugh all you want now) UF will get theirs in SoFla. Maybe not on the defensive line (although Anthony Chickillo could easily start for the Gators), but would you trade Denzel Perryman or Deon Bush for any of their linebackers or safeties? I wouldn't.

They didn't even have enough OL to have a spring game. On defense UF lost Floyd, Bostic, and Elam. Their 3 best players. They are unproven to say the least. There's no way a young DL will get the kind of pressure they need against our OL. Who do they have Easly? Ok, he's pretty good, but is he good enough to beat Seantrel and Feliciano on a consistent basis? **** no.

Ok first off no it does not make sense for UM to be in the SEC. Everything is about TV sets and footprint Miami doesnt help since UF already has the whole state of Florida covered. Miami brings nothing to the table for the SEC. NC state makes more sense than Miami.

I was talking about right now NOT THE PAST . Right now was a program what does Miami have better than UF? Better AD? More fans going to games? Better Alumni and boosters? Better facilities? Better recruiting? Better S & C? Better nutrition program? Better stadium?

Love you school but be realistic. At this point in time UF is a better program. That could all change is a year or two but it true right now. If UM goes 11-2 and loses a BCS bowl people are going to be saying "we back". UF went 11-2 and people are trying to say the program is not strong?

Florida, Miami and Florida St. should play every year, they just should. Forget excuses from each side, the state title should be played out between the big 3 each and every season.

This sounds great but in reality it makes zero football sense if you are Florida. No matter what anybody says, playing in the SEC is above and beyond any other conference. So not only should they go through the SEC grind but then add two more potential grind games in FSU and Miami every year. That is a recipe for disaster for any AD or coach at Florida. Now, if you play in one of the crappy ACC divisions then that makes more sense. You might need a game like Florida every year to potentially raise your stock. FSU and Miami currently need a game with Florida more than they need one with Miami or FSU.
