Gainesville is Florida's toilet.
Gainesville is Florida's toilet.
Yeah, last year most of our team were freshmen. Two years ago Miami sent more kids to the league than UF. We're not even talking about Ed Reed and Ray Lewis... that wouldn't be fair to you.
Miami is a notch above Florida. The only times Florida can compete is when Miami is down for some reason. Seriously, all you guys have is the SEC. Admit it.
If you had any balls at all, you would let Miami and FSU in to the SEC and all three teams would play each other every year. But you don't. I understand.

I understand you think Miami is a notch above UF I would expect you to. Right now what areas do you think Miami's overall football program is better than UF's?
The SEC doesn't want Miami it doesn't make financial sense. UF could beg for UM to join the conference UF helped build into a monster and all Slive would do is laugh. At this point in time what does UM bring to the table? And didnt UM sign GOR so there is no way they can join the SEC?

The 9th game is going to happen and if it does the Miami game will go I think the fans would prefer every game be a big game but it doesn't make sense from an AD and business perspective. You need a certain amount of homes games a year.I hate this place...from a Gator fan perspective, what are your thoughts on the UM/UF game (or lack thereof) regarding recruiting? Is the majority of your fanbase in favor of a 9th sec game or more of looking to continue scheduling whomever they choose?
I would think coming to SFL and playing football would be a high priority for any FL school...to keep a recruiting presence. What are your thoughts?
From a coaching perspective no way Muschamp wants to play 9 games in the SEC plus FSU and then add Miami that would be the hardest schedule in the country every year.
Next year the UM game is probably UF's 5th hardest game while UF is UM's most difficult game.
UF doesn't need it from a recruiting stand point. If we win in the SEC and continue to send good recruiters like T Rob and Joker (laugh all you want now) UF will get theirs in SoFla. If anything the game might hurt UF recruiting. What game would fill up your stadium for a big recruiting weekend this year if UF wasn't on your schedule?

This is completely false. The SEC has been in discussions TWICE in the past about getting UM to join the SEC, and both times UF has blocked their entry.

Ao much arrogance in this post. And yet, you'll still never catch up to us in titles.
South Florida will always produce better athletes than north florida. Miami will always out-recruit UF in South Florida. Therefore, you guys will always be just a little less talented than we are.
We might be young and rebuilding lately, but when we meet next year, the Miami squad will have more talent, more future NFL players on it than UF's roster.
If it wasn't for your conference, UF would have ZERO bragging rights at all. So you better keep hiding behind it.
I dont know what to tell you I was just stating what is going on not bragging about anything.
You really believe Miami has more talent than UF?
When do you think Miami will have a better recruiting class than UF?
You realize UF is one of the reasons the SEC is so strong right?

THOSE TOOTHLESS INBRED FU@KS KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS.....THAT'S WHY......
...AND IHATEMYFACE IS CORRECT, IT WOULD NOT BE "FINANCIALLY ADVANTAGEOUS" FOR THEM TO PLAY US EVERY YEAR....MONEY SAFELY IN THE BANK AND GETTING THEIR ANNUAL *** RAPE ARE WORLDS APART.....

Our 5th and 6th receivers would start for UF. Driskell is a clown show who can't throw to save his sister before he ****ed her. Matt Jones? GTFOH, dude's 6'2" and playing the HB role? They didn't even have enough OL to have a spring game. On defense UF lost Floyd, Bostic, and Elam. Their 3 best players. They are unproven to say the least. There's no way a young DL will get the kind of pressure they need against our OL. Who do they have Easly? Ok, he's pretty good, but is he good enough to beat Seantrel and Feliciano on a consistent basis? **** no.
Sept. 7th we roll..........mark it. It's not even gonna be close. 35 - 10 'Canes by ruthlessness.
oh, and **** IHATETHISPLACE.

Your validating my argument about offense, I said Miami was more talented. On UF's D, apparently you never heard of Bullard, Fowler, Powell, Morrisson, Purifoy. All of them would start at Miami.
Listen, I hate them mother****ers as much as anyone, but I can't deny the talent on their D.
Ok first off no it does not make sense for UM to be in the SEC. Everything is about TV sets and footprint Miami doesnt help since UF already has the whole state of Florida covered. Miami brings nothing to the table for the SEC. NC state makes more sense than Miami.Yeah it makes sense for Miami and FSU to be in the SEC because the schools are in the Southeast and it's the Southeastern Conference. Also, there's no reason UM, FSU, and UF shouldn't play each other every year. That's what the fans want to see.
That's why college football needs a commissioner, like the NFL has. Restructure the conferences by geography and by rivalries. No reason Texas A&M shouldn't be playing Texas every year, no reason Nebraska shouldn't play Oklahoma every year, why Michigan shouldn't be playing Notre Dame, etc.
UM has better coaching, better running backs, better quarterback, better offensive line, better wide receivers, better linebackers, and better special teams than UF. That's this year.
As a program, we have more national championships, more conference championships, more heisman trophy winners, more players in the NFL, and not to mention a winning record vs UF.
Florida, Miami and Florida St. should play every year, they just should. Forget excuses from each side, the state title should be played out between the big 3 each and every season.
