Man talk about foreshadowing what Deion was saying during the combine. Defensive Backs todays and freak athletes with terrible technique.

Theres many solutions to this but teaching proper positional fundamentals is a good start at the youth levels(high school etc.)I understand kids have huge growth spurts and due to numbers high end kids gotta be versatile. But once you see a kids mentality & where his growth patterns are trending then as coaches they gotta do right by these kids & teach them a foundation they can grow upon. The next step in that process would be positional coaches at all levels high school and up who actually have knowledge (significant experience) at the position they are assigned to. This mercenary approach for the sake of recruiting is idiotic at best... what's the purpose in wanting some stud recruits as yall call them if we dont have a position coach who can actually coach them up to peak levels... I'm not giving any examples of this as its rampant..

This but I would like to add that it seems that RB coaches and DB coaches across FBS football are being paid $300k+ to recruit and not teach fundamentals.

Should recruit the same angle that works for the kkk. Get out of podunk ****hole, experience something new in Miami. (Have 12 latinas inside his hotel room when he comes back.)
 
Wish former players were more active in recruiting on social media (note I think this has changed more with Manny). These kids eat it up on twitter and instagram. Not saying it matters much at the end of the day but it shows a kid he's really wanted.

That's exactly what I mean. Its prayed for by people on here daily for people who want Mike gone. Certain positions far more than others are just slots for mercenaries as position coaches. I'm all for great recruiters but not if it's at the expense of coaching their positions well...

Just an fyi because yall dont see our efforts in that capacity doesnt mean it's not there brother. That same kid would far rather a phone call or a text message than a tweet... #justsayin

I completely agree brotha. Appreciate all the effort behind the scenes and I only see what some select kids post on social media.

LMAO at ā€œpodunk **** hole.ā€ Ensworth School is an elite private school in Nashville and on the fringe of one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the southeast. Just because a town is between the mason dixon line and I4 doesnā€™t make it an automatic **** hole. This is the same retarded logic that schools use to recruit against us even though UM is in Coral Gables. Ffs you guys are dumb sometimes

Nashville definitely has some very affluent neighborhoods . The misconceptions on this board like many others is at an all time high because of people trying to push a narrative thatā€™s almost comical if not for being so sad

There is some podunk ****hole towns straddling north of the Mason-Dixon line also.

There is actually nothing podunk about Nashville. Itā€™s one of the fastest growing cities with almost 2 million people in the metro area. Just cause itā€™s known for country music doesnā€™t make it some redneck backwoods city.
