Interesting about Burton.

He ran in the 4.4s at one of the camps last year. At his size, he can really move.

And he was the second most productive WR at IMG when Hightower was a senior (he was the most productive).

But he's been at a lot of HSs - IMG, then Marrieta and now out in Calabasas, CA.

Hopefully everything is okay with him.

If so, I wouldn't be upset if he came back on board. At all.

After seeing these so called elite corners and safety's at the Adidas joint yesterday I'm really putting thought into starting up a national youth league with some friends now. These so called coaches are letting these kids down horribly. It's not just collegiate evals it starts when they are kids. You gotta coach these kids up at all levels atleast in minor increments. Just because a kid grows into 6'1 and 185 with speed doesnt mean hes a db. Some of them just the mentality they approach the game with is just disappointing knowing were helping to cement this nonsense... I've never seen a supposedly elite national event suck so badly. I wont even get into how *** this sfe everyone speaks on is. Personally I'd wanna get 180° degrees away from anything else with them.

Unfortunately this isn't the NBA where you can jump right in from high school. Gotta put a little effort in the classroom.

Either it’s a down year for TE or all sites haven’t done racks but they’ve ranked the TE class so low on the composite. Mammarelli rating is *** but still #4 in the class.

Unfortunately this isn't the NBA where you can jump right in from high school. Gotta put a little effort in the classroom.

I agree whole heartedly. It's sad cause hes a great kid and he has TONS of talent. But cant show nothing if u dont take class serious. Or atleast put some effort into it.

It's not so much he doesnt HAVE them. It's just hes not around anyone that he respects enough to consider a authority figure. Hes a kid and hes living on his own virtually (he lives with darnay Holmes old boy)on the opposite side from the country from anythingbor anyone he knows. He listened to an idjit about this recruiting process & unfortunately as a result hes become a casualty of the process...its a sad situation honestly.

Dang man, that’s tough to hear. Hopefully he gets everything sorted out so he can get in to school somewhere next cycle. I’d love to have him on the team but can’t ignore the classroom.
