Probably because he demanded guaranteed starting position. Maybe they wouldn't meet his demands. The kid knew we had three returning senior starters. Sounds too entitled. Just a guess.

I think they are ok getting 2 LBs with the three Jr returning. No need to waste a scholly if they are not sold on a kid.

This is really frustrating. Why not bring the kid in? Also you are going to be on Tennison heavy next year, so why not take Brothers when you need a 3rd LB?

Ivins said they dont feel that they have to have another LB in the class. And baker is the dc and he ran a 4-2-5 and i wouldn't be suprised if diaz didn't let him install some true 4-2-5 stuff.

Romeo showed he’s a bad dude last year. Amari looked big enough to play lb. we should be pretty good. But the 20 class we need to bring 3 in at least.

Not really. Finley and smith are ss that they basically moved to LB. So you got guys like finley, smith, bolden, carter, k.smith, who can play striker/sam/3rd db.

Then you have bandy, couch, and blades who can play nickel when you want to use extra corners.

They’re investing in the DL. They are doubling down on that to enhance everything that is happening behind them. With all three backers coming back I’m looking for the staff to as you all said and skip this years LB crop and go in big time on next years group.
