Only team in the coastal that I wouldn't have a problem being picked ahead of us is UNC. And we beat them on the road despite horrible QB play and 2 of our best playmmakers getting injured early in that game.
The rest of the picks ahead of us defy logic.

except that Dook beat us by 18 points and VT ran a train on us at home. yeah other than that

Except that we beat them both the season before last which didn't stop them from beating us last season so obviously your logic and reasoning needs some work.

LMAO

OK then how does it defy logic that those teams be picked ahead of us considering that they beat the **** out of us last year?

Since this thread is teetering in the direction of talent. Outside of FSU, because we know in large part. They are better in more position head to head.

What remaining teams on our schedule. Can you look down the line, and say. **** they just are better than us.

I'll start QB off.

Outside of FSU, Duke and Virginia. Unless i am mistaken. Every team is breaking in a new QB on our schedule. Some may have some mope up time, but overall. None off them are popping off in my head. As to just being some bad *** dude from a year ago. So does anyone really have an edge?

Explain to me the rest of our schedule. Just let me know what teams beat us at certain positions.

Coaching is well documented. So lets keep this about our talent vs theirs. Hopefully we can get some good discussions on this.

Because I'm not looking at previous year results to project performance. I'm looking at their rosters, depth, experience, veteran leadership, number of elite players, etc. You know stuff your average fan would consider.

Yeah, it's hard being an old school Cane and seeing that, but I'm guessing they feel our season tanked when Ryan got injured. I have little knowledge of what the other teams will have but I know we're not losing to Duke, Pitt, and UNC at home.

Who was Ryan Williams?

Only 3 teams in the ACC are returning with their QB from a year ago.

ESPN isn't selling the off their Cane stocks over a QB.

Morris was very pedestrian last season, no reason to believe someone else on the roster can't be just as average.

Exactly…read any draft scouting report on him. In a nutshell, only accurate when throwing to a stationary target, doesn't hit receivers in stride nearly as often as he should. Why? Because he couldn't read a defense, yet had a cannon of an arm to make up for it.

I think we're just as good as any other team in our division.

Unfortunately, we get ****ed in cross-division play, and we're not going to out coach good teams, so yeah, I'd say that prediction's not way off base.

Wake Forest gave us all we wanted, how many draftable players do they have? Duke wrecked us with a coastal championship gift wrapped to us with how many draftable players?

#1 - we beat WF
#2 - Duke won 10 games, time to stop looking at the helmet and looking at the actual players.

#1 Beating a really bad Div 1 team isn't something you put in the "plus" column at the university of Miami
#2 Duke was the prettiest fat girl. They won 10 games cause their in the same crappy conference we are in and played a similar schedule. If we had any semblance of a coaching staff...we would have won 10 or 11 games .

#2 has a **** of a lot better coach than us...I'll give you that.

:ibisroflmao:

you sure are one **** of an excuse maker for us winning, good lord! The same coaching staff that has been at Duke for what, 7 years?

Stop crying!

The definition of irony is a Golden lover giving a critic on the art of excuses.

Have you already loaded the hopper with the new batch for next year....cause talent and the cloud aren't in play anymore

I think you mean critique. Just sayin'

I could see how this was their line of thinking.
So they have us losing to FSU and UL plus 2 more from the coastal side like VT and either UNC or Duke.

But I see us splitting between FSU and UL, and losing one in the coastal depending how our QB situation works out for an overall 4-2 conference record or 5-1 if Olsen comes through.

You're one dumb ************. Now post a crying gif like the unoriginal ****** you are and wait on your other excuse making boyfriends to come to your rescue.

So basically win one we aren't supposed to and we are tied for 1st in their predictions

Too bad tieing for first in this God forsaken abomination of a division is not an indicator of a good season at the University of Miami.

Unless, you know, that's what we're settling for now.

Mope City is tired of crying gifs, but can't stop won't stop crying!?!

:ibisroflmao:

So easy to mess with. 3....2.....1.....

Anybody who was off of Randy's bandwagon after the Wisconsin debacle and subsequent egg laying signing day, should be in the same position now with Golden. It is hypocritical to do otherwise.

After 3 years my disappointment is the continued lack of physical, mental, and skill development of our players. At UNC, Butch Davis was pumping out NFL players by year 3, at a school that sucked and has no recruiting base. Yes Randy was the WOAT and the talent left was mediocre; but NONE of it has developed.

Your right. Butch took over a school wih no football tradition and no local recruiting base and was putting out the hugest number of draft picks by year three.

Al Golden came to the Mecca of football recruiting at a school that averaged one title every five years, in the midst of an NCAA inquiry and hasn't gotten any kid to develop into a high draft pick.
