In order to definitely make the 12 team playoff with our schedule strength 🤞🏻

Dinich: Miami. The Canes' path is tough not only because of back-to-back road trips to Cal and Louisville, but also because if they don't win the ACC, they might not have enough on their resume to get an at-large bid. The pressure is on, especially after a close, controversial home win against Virginia Tech. Saturday's game at Cal marks the first time Miami has to leave its home state -- and if they play like they did against the Hokies, an upset is possible. Then they have a bye week to recover from the trip out West before traveling to Louisville. If Miami runs the table but loses to Clemson in the ACC championship game, the Canes still have a great chance of getting in the playoff as an at-large team. If Miami loses at Cal, though, or has a bad loss and doesn't win the league, its schedule strength will be called into question on Selection Day.

They are saying we need to run the table to get in if we lose the ACC Champ game. If we win it we get in regardless.
Yes, but since we don’t know if we’ll get there or win it if we do get there, the only way to ensure we’re def in the ACC championship game is to run the table

i am still wondering how Va.Tech lost to Vandy & Rutgers? we did not play well but Va Tech was very solid up front on OL and D was very good overall RB is very good as well they should have a better record

Need vtech to get their **** together so that win ages better

I also im not gonna push back against them putting a sec team with 2-3 losses in because bro you could have a team with only losses to top10 teams on their record..unless they get blown out i can see the case

The committee is gonna have to do their job this year instead of just sorting **** out by only wins and losses..I wouldn’t be surprised is only one undefeated team this year and multiple 2-3 teams that could be real contenders. Are u gonna put the best teams in or now

This has been a problem with this sht conference.
The so-contending ACC teams losing to really poor out-of-conference teams but then turning around beating other ACC teams which were expected to be in the top20.

We need to stop and take off our orange and green glasses.
Losing sucks and we hype this team up every time we get any success.

We even hype up the off season. We hype up 4 star recruits that never played one snap of d1 ball.
And now we are already locking up an appearance in charlotte and a playoff spot.

Vt should’ve never been what it was. I posted that the game needed to happen. It needed to happen to “wake players up” it needed to happen for the players to not be feeling themselves too much and think they can just show up cause they’re that much better.

But what if they did show up?
What if they did prepare and took vt seriously?
What if we really aren’t that good and we just have an alien at qb who went 3 straight td drives in the 4th quarter.
What if vt sucks but Drones is a **** stud too.

The only way to know is to keep playing.
If we really are that team that’s gonna be in charlotte then Saturday night is a blowout.

If its close or if we lose then chalk up at least one more L because we will be playing at least one team that’s better than cal. West coast trip or not. After what happened last week you don’t drop a game against cal and you sure as hail don’t make it a dog fight.

Fair and reasonable take for October 3rd. Lots of chaos yet to occur though.

Looking good and not getting into slap fights with the remaining patsies will go a long way.

I think they had some turnovers in those games and fell behind early.

Refs stepping in to make these games more competitive doesn’t help either… that TD that got wiped with that weak holding call makes the difference
