LAne is a monster, no doubt. This Dixon kid is no slouch. We just signed Coley, and we are also looking to bring in Rudolph and some other studs. It hurts, but we'll be OK.

**** yeah we will but this is like back in the day when we had crazy depth for years and I want that again as long as it doesn't hurt other positions. This is an easy way to get back to that and dominate the NCAA

It's not signing day so it can't really hurt yet. There will be a thousand more threads just like this between now and then. Bama insiders. Cane insiders. Some other insiders will claim they jumped in the mix and are leaders. Blah, blah.

Lane is not coming to UM. Don't fool yourselves guys. I didn't read what was posted, but I've felt like this for awhile. Until we start winning games again the Sony Michels, Amari Coopers, Matthew Thomases, Ermon Lanes, Alex Collins, Sammy Watkins type studs will be going elsewhere.

It's the sad truth.......

Haha but in all honesty the guy is a pretty good coach... He had no offense took some underachieving talent and had them compete... We all no about their big 3... Floyd, Elam and Bostic but he got production from players like McCray on defense who was a practically an undersized linebacker playing DE... That team had so many holes... Coker and him shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath... No saying he is better but they are 2 different scenarios... UF never had the talent level near that UM squad especially the 2012 UF squad... I knew they were going to be a 5-7 win team... As for Coker there were other issues... You can't compare the two... However you give credit where it's due... UF played some discipline ball last year with a bad qb...
 
We all must realize that if we win we'll be fine... And we also must realize in Broward and Dade county it's always a Big 3 battle... I grew up in Lauderdale and I can testify that the allegiance to the big 3 is divided into 3rds... Each team probably possess 33% favor among fans down here... At lunch growing up I always got into arguments with FSU and UF fans... Sometimes it was even with teachers... I know I went off the topic but I keep reading the "rep yo city" mantra thrown around... If we win we'll get the players due to a business decision but there isn't a good amount of loyalty to depend on a commitment because its the hometown team... It was never like that...
 
Eh i'm a believer in this info. This has been hinted at for a while and the more I read it the more I believe it. "where there's smoke..."

We still get studs I don't know why dudes are acting like we don't get top flight recruits.

I personally don't believe Lane is coming and I hope that I'm wrong. It's 'Bama or Miami.

I know right? Watching Duke tear it up at FSU while Tracy and Deon battle in the SEC Title Game is gonna suck!
 
Every time I read something bad about Lane from an "insider" I then read something good about him from another "insider". So really I think everyone just ignores the good they hear because they are still butt hurt from the bad beat we took on a few guys last cycle. I don't think there is that much momentum for any of these schools right now.

Just like there was no way Cook would commit to UiF? Or there was no way Thomas visiting USC was anything but wanting a free trip to Los Angeles? Or Tracy Howard was never coming to Miami? Or Sony was all Cane all day?

We don't know what these kids are going to do, unless they are visiting FAU. Then we know they are trolling everyone. Lane might very well go to UiF if they tell him what he wants to hear.
