Hard to say. I don’t think Emory stays if he’s QB3.

Judd is talented. The size and athleticism is real and he’s an easy thrower. The unknown is how he will process when he faces first and second-team defenses.

Guess we will see soon enough. There is chance we might remain with Nickel and Judd behind Beck, I don’t think Emory stays if he is not the clear cut QB 2 out of spring.

The silver lining of Beck’s injury is that Emory, Nickel and Judd will have plenty of reps in spring to battle for QB2.

My money is on Nickel.

Give nickel as much as he can handle.

Was he a great QB? Not really.

Was he a headache in the locker room? Not that I know of.

But man that 2023 Clemson game was alot of fun! He played tough!

Unless he’s content being a back up, he’s hitting the portal. The vast majority of the time if you’re not starting by year three, you ain’t starting, and no one thinks he’s beating out Luke after next season.

But considering this portal era of college football, the tape he's put out there, and the QBs coming in this year and next, I'd expect him to move on in the spring.

but if you have been at Miami for two years and you have game experience and you get a half against a bad Iowa State defense

and do WHAT HE DID

that guy is never playing at Miami. and he shouldn't.

Having Nickel as the backup isn’t ideal to me until he shows he can do it. Beck has a torn elbow lol having a true freshman behind can be a genuine recipe for disaster.
