Yall ever noticed last year we got all our big recruits after a loss to ease the pain !! Good flip maybe our dumb *** d cord don’t stunt him inside on teams who run counters and sweeps outside the entire game
maybe the loss occurs because of the recruiting wins... who knows... nice to stack talent, though

Miami has landed one of the top targets on its entire board with the commitment of DE Hayden Lowe.

The 6’4, 242-pounder hails from Oaks Christian in the Los Angeles area, which is the same high school as Kayvon Thibodeaux of the New York Giants. Mario Cristobal signed Thibodeaux at Oregon.

Lowe is ranked as the #44 overall in the nation according to 247Sports and is in the midst of a dominant senior season. He was previously committed to USC.

He is the 23rd commitment of the 2025 class, joining QB Luke Nickel, RB Girard Pringle, TE Brock Schott, TE Luka Gilbert, WR Josh Moore, WR Malachi Toney, WR Daylyn Upshaw, OL Jaden Wilkerson, OL Demetrius Campbell, OL SJ Alofaituli, OL Max Buchanan, DE Herbert Scroggins, DT Donta Simpson, DT Mykah Newton, LB Gavin Nix, LB Ezekiel Marcelin, DB Amari Wallace, DB Tim Merritt, S Hylton Stubbs, ATH Bryce Fitzgerald, CB Jaboree Antoine and CB Chris Ewald.

Mario you sick son of a ***** you did it again!

Canesport has a story up = they spoke to him right after the announcement.

- Staff didn't know. He said he text Jason Taylor right after it went public.

“I texted (co-defensive line coach) Jason Taylor, `What other defensive linemen do I have in my class that are coming to Miami?’ He gave me the list and I said, `Well you have one more: Hayden Lowe.’ And he sent me a long text that (included) `You won’t regret this decision.’ Now they know.”

According to Canesport, Lowe’s flip came, in part, thanks to a rebuilt relationship with the Hurricanes’ staff. Lowe felt locked in with USC last month, but as the Hurricanes continued to prioritize the four-star EDGE, he found himself listening to the message from Miami’s staff — telling him he could be the face of the Hurricanes’ program and be coached by a NFL Hall-of-Famer.

He said he told USC about a week ago he was decommitting. A few other schools, including Oregon , got wind of it and started blowing up his phone. He said he hinted to Miami he was considering a flip.

“They made me feel like I was the poster boy down there, if I go there I can be the face of their program,” Lowe said. “And if I go there I can get connected, coached by one of the best defensive linemen in the history of football. It was a history I couldn’t pass at all.”
He went on to say that he never felt that way with USC - they would hit him up here and there but never the consistent attention he got from Miami

Lowe plans to sign Dec. 4 and enroll in January. And he isn’t thinking twice about his decision. He said his recruitment is shut down and he isn't talking to anyone else
189th ranked player and Oregon was coming for him....
