I think the tourney committee deliberately placed Miami in the bracket of death hoping we'd get knocked out early. Ncaa didn't want any players in men's college basketball getting the crazy idea they could get NIL $$$ AND be part a winning program. CBS has a pre game show on now and did a nice segment on Miami and Coach L. As always, Kenny Smith spoke glowingly about his respect for and relationship with Jim Larranaga. He said coach L is the only coach from his previous life he still keeps in touch with. Ironicallly, it was this same day in 2006 that Coach L led George Mason to their first and only appearance in the Final Four.... maybe that's an omen!!!

Today feels a lot different than last year. I was disappointed after the loss, but always felt we caught good matchups and punched above our weight to get there. And had zero expectations in the Kansas game.

This year is nothing like that. Played every top seed possible. And everyones takeaway is that it’s pretty obvious they seeded Miami too low. Time to prove that one more time and stamp this program as a legit national power.

This is the biggest game for Miami's athletic program in last 20 years probably since the 2003 Fiesta bowl against Ohio st. Huge game of epic proportions. Go canes!
