Tyler is streaky, felt this last year. He's got a lot of tools and size but needs to be more consistent to continue to get that first round grade in the NFL.

Streaky I am on the fence about, I want to see what he looks like with more consistent o'line playTyler is streaky, felt this last year. He's got a lot of tools and size but needs to be more consistent to continue to get that first round grade in the NFL.
Exactly. Thank you.
Everyone has bias including 247.You know the reviews on these camps are biased when ON3 has JJ Kohl as the day 1 MVP saying how great he looked and 247 didn't have him in their top 10 lol
ESPN already bumped him to #12 4-star before the Elite 11.Not sure why it matters. I don't think Emory will get the bump a lot of people envisioned but nothing has changed. Neither are Day 1 starters with or without this event.
In the grand scheme of things all commitments don't matter equally. If Emory ends up being the better player that's great but Emory is not the guy to be a class ambassador. I'm glad we have 2 QBs and both want to compete that's all you can ask.ESPN already bumped him to #12 4-star before the Elite 11.
I personally don't care. For Emory, I do.
What's funny to me is that some of our fans are just rooting for Rashada because he's the higher ranked guy getting all the hype.
We have 2 capable QB recruits. I'm happy we have both of them. I hope we can hold them.
At the end of the day, it will be about the competition on Greentree not who was ranked higher.

Fair enough. I'd agree with that, but it doesn't mean fans should just root for one and not the other. It's like some fans have relegated Emory to a backup scrub roll. They both have talent. In the grand scheme of things all commitments don't matter equally. If Emory ends up being the better player that's great but Emory is not the guy to be a class ambassador. What’s funny is that this is the exact opposite of what’s actually being posted in these threads. People are rooting for both of them but more so pulling for Emory because he is lower ranked and and under-rated. People are rooting for Rashada because he is a Miami Hurricane QB (full stop) and in a QB competition representing Us. Rooting for him doesn’t require qualification or justification.ESPN already bumped him to #12 4-star before the Elite 11.

Do U feel that QB Jacurri Brown receives the same treatment by our fan base?Fair enough. I'd agree with that, but it doesn't mean fans should just root for one and not the other. It's like some fans have relegated Emory to a backup scrub roll. They both have talent.
My biggest beef is with with our fans and fans in general. At the beginning, If both Jaden and Emory were top 10 QBs (and they very well might be at the end), the hype and narrative would be different. Even if Emory kills it at Elite 11, it's like he won't shake the 3-star label that has been implanted into the brains of many fans.
Well I'm on record as not being a fan of Emory. I also think people have gone overboard and assumed coaches all of a sudden don't make bad evals. With that being said once he committed I dropped my soapbox and I hope he's an all time great. I think as fans we need to root for competition and hope the best man wins.Fair enough. Your question doesn't make sense. What is the same treatment?Do U feel that QB Jacurri Brown receives the same treatment by our fan base?
That's where I'm at. I want both of them and everyone else to be successful. The competition will be play itself out. We win either way as the best man will have the job.Well I'm on record as not being a fan of Emory. I also think people have gone overboard and assumed coaches all of a sudden don't make bad evals. I can agree with the evaluation statement. However, in this case Emory seems to be proving them correct. He's personally thown for the staff and has competed at camps with his peers. Being selected for the Elite 11 Finals pretty much validates the evaluation. Otherwise, a lot more people have it wrong than just our staff.Well I'm on record as not being a fan of Emory. Kinda… the kid is a Cane now so this isn’t a knock on him but all types make it, including Preston Dewey who just wasn’t even a G5 bench warmer.I can agree with the evaluation statement. This answers the question just fine thanks.Your question doesn't make sense. What is the same treatment?
He's 3rd on the depth chart. Most fans don't even talk about the backup. The lions share of attention goes to the starter. TVD was just a blip on the radar until he started and played well.
The same will happen from Jaden and Emory when/if they enroll and then it will be all about the 2024 QB.
I think your thinking of the past. You think Mario is just handing out scholarships? I'm pretty sure Lamar Seymore was dropped or encouraged to go elsewhere.Kinda… the kid is a Cane now so this isn’t a knock on him but all types make it, including Preston Dewey who just wasn’t even a G5 bench warmer.
Said nothing of the sorts just that an elite 11 invite doesn’t say all that much.I thin your thinkimg of the past. You think Mario is just handing out scholarships? I'm pretty sure Lamar Seymore was dropped or encouraged to go elsewhere.
I'm more worried about Williams flipping elsewhere than being some type of bust.
I was referring to the "bad" evaluation comment.Said nothing of the sorts just that an elite 11 invite doesn’t say all that much.
Again I didn’t say anything about a bad eval, I just stated that the Elite 11 invite doesn’t validate the offer. Don’t infer more than that. That doesn’t mean that I somehow view his offer as not being validated or a bad eval in any way shape or form. I’m not stuck in the star system, I’m just not being understood.I was referring to the "bad" evaluation comment.
I think the invite does say a lot. They didn't just draw names out of a hat. He competed and was selected from his peers.
It also confirms what UM had already evaluated and offered.
I think people are mentally stuck with this star system.
