UGA is probably gonna win most of these battles until we win, which could be this season and change that dynamic. But lets not act like we didnt take Ny Carr from them who is a GA native. Lets not act like we didnt flip 3 players from Ohio St in 2 years, one a Chicago native, Justin Scott. And also took Lightfoot from their back yard who they badly wanted. Thats with 5-7 and 7-6.

Im just saying these battles are not foregone conclusions anymore and if they are, we find out pretty early and move on. These are the battles we have to win our share out of high school, they are difficult to get in the portal, unlike QB and some other positions. I would say CB, OL and DL u must get the elite out of high school. Atleast players who can become elite in college. Imo

Also glad we went first in this OV schedule, which as of now he only has 2 set up. Ours and USC the 21st.

He's, most likely, UGA bound but, in today's cfb, we can only pray that he dips his toes on the portal later on.

Usually I'd consider chasing a kid like 'wishful thinking' but the portal and NIL have changed everything
He ain’t transferring unless he’s a jag and they discover that there. If he’s legit and enrolled at UGA he ain’t going anywhere. It ain’t about the wins no matter what the players say it’s a go to response for cameras. If we have a better relationship than UGA we win the battle, if we don’t they get him. It’s that simple

Per my source, which is Planet Red from Alien Labs, we land him. Mario has a history of landing out of state, star d lineman. This guys no different. Not even UGA can beat the Mario / JT combo for an in state guy.

@DMoney in the June 11 Bank
- Miami feels it made a major move for DT Elijah Griffin (Savannah) on his visit. They are in the fight and he is an extreme priority. It should be noted that Griffin is close friends with fellow Savannah natives DE Herbert "Third" Scroggins III (who the staff loves) and DT Walter Mathis, who visited last week. Mathis was crystal balled to Miami by 247's Anna Adams and there is real smoke there. Mathis is closer to 6' than 6'3, but he's extremely twitched up and coveted by top DL factories like Clemson, LSU and Auburn.
