Edwards and Henderson

All in on Henderson and the CBs already in the class. If Edwards wants to play in Gainesville so be it.

if we nab Henderson & Dean,

that's an experienced JR corner coming in at a big position of need in Dean
two studs frosh corners in henderson/Bandy
two freak safeties in Smith/Carter
and an athlete in Deejay that can play either position if needed.

thats exceptional and when added to what we'll get in 2018, i have zero concerns

Exactly. Everyone's worried about CB but if we get the 3 that are committed/likely Canes, we are set at the position for 2017 and 2018 brings the chance for 3 elite ones.

That's our top 5 CBs without CJ or Edwards. That's a perfect blend of speed and size. ****, if the rookies impress, we could transition Redwine to FS and just keep the 4 remaining for 2018, to go with the 2018 class of 3 CBs.

It's a perfect depth chart.

Edwards can go.. he is slow.. I don't wanna sound petty.. but I've always thought that.. He is a poor man Seldrick Redwine to me (Redwine had better HS film).. I projected him as a safety at the next level.. not a CB.. Henderson is a must have.. could care less if it with or w/o Edwards.. (I like Brini and Gibson way more as CB then Edwards)

I don't consider either one of these two as "must haves" if we close with Dean, Bandy and DJ at CB. The main reason why i want them is to stick it to the Gayturds. But at least Crank Job Henderson has elite speed so even if he never transitions to CB, he could still be used on offense, where he got a ton of reps in H.S.

I have never gotten the appeal for Edwards. The same dummies on here that would have bashed Richt for settling for low rated 3 star scrubs like Kyshaun Bryan are now getting ready to crucify Richt for NOT getting a low rated 3 star scrub like Brian Edwards. Hypocrisy is really sad to see. smdh.

lol you aint lying about the last part. I mean at least the Byran kid had speed.. and anyone with legit 4.4 speed is ALWAYS a must have (unless they are really short - like 5'8, 5'7 and not a RB).. you can always gain technique, strength, and coaching.. but not speed.. you either have or you don't.. you can ALWAYS use speed.. If Edwards doesn't pan out he never see the field again and probably transfers.. If Henderson doesn't pan out.. at the very least with his kind of speed you can have him on kickoffs coverage or a return man.. thats the difference.

Edwards got 2 CB's today to Miami. One from Bud Elliot, the other from a Louisville writer. Wonder if they're just following the recent trend?

I know people will cry about us getting burned or losing him, but if he does choose UF, I won't lose sleep over it. Mental fortitude is an undervalued commodity.

My sentiments exactly. These head cases don't usually work out unless the staff shapes them up. Give me Henderson and I'm good.
 
I think the main thing with Brian Edwards is that most just don't want UF to be able to get a local guy that we have also been after doesn't really matter his talent level, I think if he was going to UL or Duke or some place like that there wouldn't be as much of an out cry

The microscope of recruiting can reveal things not seen by the naked eye. If Edwards cucks out to UF then he's a schmoe. Not too many good football players are prideless cucks.

Edwards was all about "who shows me the most love" throughout the process. Now he's on the verge of cucking out to the place that showed him nothing but contempt until the final week.
