Maybe if we didn't send a position coach to see him like UF that would've been the trick. IF you choose to believe that this is about not being told from the jump that he could play CB so be it. It didn't keep from committing in the first place.

I think it was a factor. Do you think the kid forgot that at one time Miami told him they want him at safety and not CB?

Look at the Slaton kid - same story. It's probably Brian Edwards #1 priority, play at a school that wants me at CB.

I disagree here. We won 9 games including a bowl last year & these kids can give two ***** less.

Hogwash. We just won a bowl game for the first time in a decade and we did so without bags.

Good coaching = wins, and wins = recruits. Richt is re-establishing Miami as the place to be for So Fla recruits. It will just take time for that to happen (my guess is 4-5 years considering the damage that was done to our image and HS relationships).
