Edwards and Henderson

Who is talking with the recruits today to get all this info?
We got someone outside the house and send someone in for periodic updates?
Track them from class to class to get an update?
It all sounds crazy to me

No quotes. Lots of insider lingo.

Rumors on rumors about Rumors that build on other rumors and then use the original rumors to reinforce it.

Too many cumbags looking for clicks.

Pete's the only one who isn't a cumbag. Dude came on here gave us a one sentence update and said he has no idea where either guy is going. That's strong.

That's why pete will always be my go-to plug for my recruiting fix

It's unacceptable to continually lose prospects especially to our rivals up north & just act like it's no big deal...

Edwards is a really good football player, we literally had this kid & have been on him more than any other team recruiting & we're still struggling to get him.

It's not the end of the world, but it's not something to be celebrating over either...

This staff has to actually close, too many times we got a kid "locked in" only to get smacked upside the head at the last second by a team that gave minimal effort & just straight up jacked us for croots.

They need to to be more aggressive, stop tryna Jesus your way into a recruits heart & pay your way into his mind...

Edwards been on Miami campus dozens of times, Hendo been on campus so much he practically lives there, UF don't even be on these kids that heavy & they just snatch'em up... You wanna take a wild guess how?

Stop ****** playing & drop the bags... Pay like you weigh or starve.

You are the perpetual advocate for dropping bags. I'm not saying you're wrong, but you're crazy if you think any of our coaches are going to be involved in that coming off our second major investigation in 20 years. No way. It's asinine to get bent out of shape about it. The only way it will happen is a grassroots effort that is kept under the radar, but as we all know the city and our boosters aren't about that life. Too busy sucking off the Alabagas and FSUs of the world to actually try to get a system in place.
You're missing my point...

It's not conjecture, it's fact... This is how the crootin game goes, you either pay up or you get left looking stupid on NSD #WatchingTheFinish .

What I'm saying overall is, all these recruits we're losing are not just being lost because the Coaching staff doesn't know how to get to them.

When it comes to everything else that involves recruiting they're great at it, but when it comes to the most important thing that matters the most, the thing that gets the kid to sign on the dotted line, they get out worked by lesser staffs... Why?? Because we're not playing the game the way it's supposed to be played.

People get ****ed at the idea of Bags being what matters the most in recruiting, but this isn't something I'm guessing on, I'm telling you what it is, yall don't have to listen, but I'm not making **** up... It's very simple, hate to sound like a broken record, but y'all are ****** naive man lol

Like I said in my original response...you aren't wrong. But until we have something in place like the bigger schools, we are gonna get run. We couldn't even close when Shapiro was throwing cocaine cruises with hookers.

Let's say hypothetically this is true, do you really believe Miami has the resources to compete with the elite programs? Saban is flying around SF in a helicopter. Let that sink in for a second. If what you say is true you might as well give up on this program because we ain't dropping those bags.

Don't need them, obviously got paid, not true Canes, way overrated, we'll get far better players in 2018.

Am I missing anything?

Think you covered it. Only thing else is the "XYZ high school coach is anti-UM and pro-whatevercollegethekidsignedwith.

All we need know is for Dean to start wavering and then everyone lining up at bridges can go ahead and jump.

No bags were dropped on these two recruits haha come on. If they go to Florida it's because they wanted to go. Both have tweeted about making a business decision based off how much money Florida DB have made recent in the NFL. They could just trust their DB coach more than an unknown in Rumph and Banda. It is what it is. We will need to find a grad transfer to continue to help fill holes in the secondary.
I've always thought this whole such and such school puts X into the league mostly silly. Florida has the higher DB salaries because they've recruited better DBs the last x number of years. If you have talent you'll make it into the NFL. **** Corn is probably a 2nd rounder even being corched by Golden and Co.

BAMA never uses their TE but Howard is going in the 1st.

Our DBs make less because we've had ****** DBs. If a kid can't realize that or see that Rumph and Banda are pretty **** good coaches combined with a DC that will put them in position to shine, they're just plain stupid.

Shhh.... you can hear Edwards and CJ talking about their decision through the wall if you put your ear against it...

Ferman throwing crap against the wall as usual claiming Miami lied to him. Another example to pin to the wall why the guy's a fraud. He's running with that internet rumor that was started by a random fan and claims the staff used it to recruit everyone against UF.
Huh? Can you post this nonsense?

Was posted earlier in this thread (screenshot).

I also don't get why so many of you porsters are acting like we lost these 2. Literally everyone was reporting they were coming here 2 days ago. Now it looks like some think they're going to uf. Well if their mind can turn 180 in a day or two, there's nothing to believe they won't change back in another 2. Chill the **** out and stop acting like they're already gone.

It makes sense with devonta smith but with these two it's just ******* ridiculous.

Ok, so you're suggesting Richt knew how to play the game deep in SEC country at UGA, but he's suddenly lost his fastball? Or he's found an even deeper sense of religion in South Florida? I suppose the same goes for Thomas Brown. Clearly, there are a multitude of influences and factors that go into signing day decisions, including in a few instances even monetary considerations. But the notion that everyone else is running around dropping bags is laughable.

We are such a doormat in recruiting it's scary. We're the fallback plan. We need to start getting tougher with these recruits. Ultimatums work.

We aren't the **** school anymore period ppl don't want to believe it but its the truth. I think this staff is slowly changing that but it wont happen over night. Got to win ball games and big games at that.

agree 100%..we are slowly coming back & I think 2018 class will help that in a big way. Hopefully we hit on our underrated guys in 17' like we did in 16'.

Every year we read this. "2018 wil be the class. 2017 will be the class. 2016 will be..."

I knew we do. You're a 100% right. Just trying to stay optimistic.

IMO Edwards isn't a kid we should have to drop bags for. He's a solid local kid who should be sold on our program, especially because we've been on him since the beginning. It's *** backwards and doesn't make sense to me.

Henderson is an Anamoly, he genuinely is a confused kid. He's been to campus 20+ times and is still flirting with UF.

The bag argument is 100% correct. I only wonder how Richt did it in UGA in the heart of SEC recruiting grounds. He always had a top class over there, I think this is just the stigma that UM is carrying right now. This 2017 class reminds me a lot of the 2013 class. 2013 was supposed to bring us back to prominence but the coaching staff was inept. As much as I hate to say it, UM is only relevant by name..not by performance on the field. If we don't beat FSU next year more of the same will continue.

For people saying bags don't matter, Anthony McFarland is a prime example of why they do. UM "lock" for a year...one last bag dinner changes his mind.

If we don't at least split these two it's a major major failure. Especially after losing McFarland. Results are all that matters. Shove that "well we know they tired hard to land these kids" mentality up your ***. You need talent & you need a lot of it to in national titles. PERIOD. Either A. start dropping bags or B. remain irrelevant That's what it's going to come down to. Chess not checkers my *** we're playing tidily winks.

we went from Hen and Ed coming to we don't know sht.....I'm with El, get a system in place and drop em buddy. We can compete with the big boys, we just aren't right now.
