We better hurry. Gonna be tough to pry him away from FIU if we wait too long. When are we gonna offer?

Thats a good point but it doesnt help james case. If he is good enough to play here is still to be determined.
True indeed. In my opinion Jeff has a very good future ahead of him. He'll be in the rotation this year but we'll have to see how much he can carve out a spot for himself at free. Sortve helps that's a weak spot for us next year. All these kids here or coming in this year are shook over next year's class. As a db you know those boys are dogs coming in. Redwine time is running thin at any spot. People would be shocked if they really understood how few of these kids should really be playing at UM. When I was in school & most of our time as a dominant program even our walk on spot were vital because they all helped compete & develop kids. That was back when we used to simply look who were the kids that clearly had that dog in them. We'd get them here than figure out a position later. Look at Dan Morgan & you'll get no better example.
Brooklyn, when you played here, can you share who were some guys that you knew were dogs the minute they stepped foot onto Greentree? Same question vice versa - hyped guys that came into greentree with a lot of hype but you knew the guy had no dog in him and never really panned out? Just curious if you would share...
Far as dogs none of em stood out more than nate webster,al blades, edge,ed reed. Really we could go on & on about that. Nate was a straight savage. He started a fight with Dan Morgan on a recruiting visit over his number & nate never even wanted the same number. It was just different then. People credit butch but honestly we all held each other accountable. If you didn't get right you'd get your *** beat & never knew where it was coming from. Far as the over hyped I really don't wanna do that but I'll say one reciever with the initials of jj. Yall figure the rest out. That's what we need to get back to holding the man next to you accountable.
On June 10, 2011, Webster was indicted for sexual battery, gross sexual imposition and five counts of unlawful sexual contact with a minor. He is charged with having *** with a 15-year-old girl, the daughter of a former assistant coach for the Cincinnati team, and was arrested on July 21.[3] According to an indictment unsealed subsequent to his arrest, Webster used guns to intimidate the girl into keeping their relationship quiet. The girl said he told her if she revealed the relationship, he would kill her and her family,
****.

Webster was one of my all-time favorites. He was an absolute beast his final year here. Then, he messed up with that fax to the NFL, and we got robbed of what truly would have been an incredible senior season.

Im just saying everybody knows why he got a offer. I dont know what kind of player he can be. His highlights showed a lot of passes getting throwed directly to him.
Now youre looking at apples & oranges brother. The vast majority of dbs high school tapes show passes basically getting thrown to them especially in high school football in Florida where qbs are conventionally simply athletes put at the spot because they can move around & make something happen. Not exactly a great recipe for stud qbs.

Brooklyndee, that's a good point you bring up about the dbs here and coming looking at the studs potentially arriving in 2018 and taking over.I'm sure that has scared some away even though playing time is there right now for the taking. If these guys don't clearly stablish themselves as starters this season the 18kids could blow by them quickly especially the EEs.

#1 I don't know why that's relevant to anything were discussing. This is football anyone that knows nate knows he got twelve years. They also know he lost his mind quite a while back. #2 don't believe everything you read. #3 the boogeyman does exist.
