Kaaya winning the job doesn't mean that Heaps was awful in camp and his Kansas teammates along with Weis didn't at least contribute to his bad play.

To the topic at hand, I am disappoint that this is a crow thread yet Gray Crow is nowhere in sight.






Never thought Golden would have the stones to make this move, but he must have seen enough (from both guys, take that for what you will) to decide BK is our best option. Very surprising, but this actually gives me a glimmer of hope for 2014 and beyond. Will be fun to watch Kaaya develop, he's a hellvua talent. Go Canes.

My point from the beginning is both are unnecessary. I completely understand why someone would take the opportunity on this one given all the Golden doesn't have the balls comments. Problem for them, and the board, is they will get it back at least 10 fold if Golden ***** the bed. And the cycle will continue.

I will eat crow. I absolutely thought he'd go with Heaps.

Same, although if he really struggles, it'll be interesting to see who he brings off the bench. Should that happen and Heaps not get the nod (who will be the backup since Olsen is suspended) then we'll know Heaps has something going on since he missed that practice.

Hopefully we don't get into that situation. We'll have a very conservative game plan, they'll load the box, and we'll see what happens. They would've done the same with anyone we started, but the blitzes are going to be coming big time.
