Per 247:
Jerry Juedy update
- Coach Dugans always lets him know he's the top priority to the Staff and how badly they want him here(Bama is as well)
- Coach Richt has told him they want to use him a lot like AJ Green
- He likes our facilities, likes that we have great coaching, and that the players treated him like family
- Looking at depth charts is a big part of his recruitment and we obviously need WR's. He likes that
- he wants a place where he feels at home and where he can make an impact right away when He steps on campus
- he won't name a leader
Sidenote: Might be a little naive to say but a good season imo makes us the team to beat for him. Also Newburg should stay in Tampa because he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about if it's about a prospect outside of Tampa
Nick Brahms on being offered yesterday
- Miami is definitely up there and we were up there before the offer, he's really big on academics. He has offers from Harvard and Yale
- Has ten other BCS offers from Georgia Tech, Louisville, Minnesota, Mississippi State, N.C. State, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Virginia. He has a bunch more from schools from the lower conference
- he will be visiting Miami again
Sidenote: IMO he's ours to lose, but if Auburn offers it will be a battle. His sister is enrolling there.
Bradley Jennings update
- Says UM is recruiting him very hard and say they really want him
- Coach Hartley(Jacksonville area recruiter) is the person he mainly talks to and he also talks to Coach Diaz
- The spring game, junior day, and campus is was what he expected but it still impressed him
- He has South Florida connections, his grandparents live here and was born/lived here
- Miami, Michigan, Louisville, North Carolina are the strongest as with FSU(says he's still solid)
Sidenote: writer shared that he ran into a prospect who went to visits Jennings was at, prospect couldn't believe the writer said he's commited to FSU because he couldn't stop talking about UM. Another Jacksonville prospect said a similar story
Jordan Wright Update
- UM shows him a lot of love, He talks to Coach Richt everyday and he talks to coach Kool and Diaz everyday
- He's been told he's the number 1 guy in the board at DE
- He will be on campus Friday
- He's receiving heavy interest from Syracuse, Kentucky, and Mississippi State. Last week he received an offer from Alabama.
Sidenote: Florida is a game changer for him, he says he talks to them almost everyday and if he gets an offer, they will be on his top list
Kadeem Telfort update:
- Coach Richt, Searels, and Brown are all recruiting him
- teams that could probably change his mind would be USC, Maryland, Michigan, and Miami
- All teams share a need for tackles and that's important to him because he wants a chance to start early
- says that Everything at junior day was perfect and the situation with Miami is moving smoothly
- he had an interesting tidbit about UM recruiting tri county:
It means a lot because they understand most of the talent is right here in South Florida," Telfort said. "They've even stated that to me a couple times. If they could rebuild by recruiting so strong in their backyard, they would bring back the old days. They used to be ranked on a national level and they know what it takes to go there again.
