Dyron Dye stuff UPDATE: Nevin is all kinds of crazy

I'd be shocked if they allowed Dyron to interview, Donna and the administration seems to be in " F you mode" with the NCAA . No more bending over backwards for these ****'s .

What. The. ****.

Did they not have two + ******* years to interview? WTF are they still asking questions for?

The ******* NoA has already gone to the C.O.I. They can't add **** now.

Mother**** the NCAA. **** them with an AIDS ****.

I have never seen a case where they are trying to **** someone over so badly.

I will go to the grave believing that the SEC powers that run the NCAA are afraid what we could become again now that we have a competent, non ****** coach. It would hurt their bottom line.

I firmly believe that the NCAA is trying to knock off any and everybody that can threaten the SEC.

Reading between the lines here:

Back in 2011, this a-hole investigator basically backed our players into a corner, as we know they do, to force confessions of things they wanted to hear.

Included in this was Dye then agreeing to whatever storyline they had for Aubrey Hill.

Two years later, now that Hill is fighting for his NCAA life, he asks players what really happened, likely bc what they were forced into telling the investigators was either false or exaggerated.

Hearing how it happened, Hill's people ask if the kids would sign affidavits saying they were provoked into talking smack on Hill.

Outrageous. The utter incompetence and corruption of the NCAA is a total freaking joke. Not only have these guys been exposed, but nothing as happened to them. In any other business, he CEO would be gone months ago

Donna did a lot of talking but not to sue these mothers by now is right down stupid...

what would be stupid is the file a lawsuit right now.. actually it would be the biggest mistake Miami can make.

1. you dont' just sue, you need to show the court you exhausted all your options to get it resolved first
2. Miami technically has not been punished yet
3. Miami has a hearing scheduled during this hearing Miami will make its case to the COI
4. if a ruling comes down against Miami, there is the appeals process.

AFTER.. all of this is done is when you sue... go it? good! now go back to watching CaneFreak videos on youtube

Herald article on the Dye interview:

University of Miami football player Dyron Dye has retained counsel as he prepares to be interviewed by the NCAA for a third time in the case involving former Hurricanes booster Nevin Shapiro.

The NCAA’s request for an additional interview, which is expected to take place in Miami next week, was initiated because the governing body of college sports believes an affidavit signed by Dye that supports ex-UM receivers coach Aubrey Hill contradicts statements made in at least one of Dye’s former interviews, a source close to the situation told The Miami Herald.

The Herald also learned that former UM quarterback Jacory Harris wrote an affidavit referencing Hill and supporting some of the statements made in Dye’s affidavit. An affidavit is a sworn statement made under oath.

The source said there are other former UM players who are also prepared to corroborate what Dye stated in his affidavit.

Dye, who will begin his fifth-year senior season in the fall, was interviewed by the NCAA twice on the same day in August 2011, the source said.

Attorney Darren Heitner of Wolfe Law Miami was hired by Dye this week but declined to talk about the case while the investigation is pending.

“I want to respect the process and wish to refrain from speaking at the moment,” Heitner said.

Dye, who already was suspended for four games and had to repay approximately $738 in benefits given to him by Shapiro during the recruiting process, faces being hit with an unethical conduct charge by the NCAA.

Dye was a reserve tight end who recently changed his position to defensive end. A serious Achilles tendon injury has put his status in question.
