Quite possible. I think we'd be pretty set without him though:

2014- Duke, Yearby
2015- Duke?, Yearby, 2015 recruit (Scarlett? Patrick?)
2016- Yearby, '15 recruit, Walton?

Need more depth. Injuries r too common....

That's why we'll get Fournette, for depth...

Tito, but I'm not higher on him and I do believe Cook is the better back, but thats like saying who do you want Lebron or Jordan, and everybody wants Jordan and you have Lebron and some act like that's a downgrade. It's not he's an outstanding running back and one thats Alabama, Florida, FSU, USC worthy

With Yearby coming in, Cook is not a huge need. Would he be nice? No doubt. But he's not a huge need.

Explain to me how Cook is a huge need when you have a 5* coming in, Duke on the roster and two studs coming out of SFL next year. Not to mention we just brought in Gus.

RB is the shallowest postition on our roster. Do i really have to explain this? If you think Gus is on the same level as Cook im gonna end this conversation, **** he isnt even on the team as of yet.. Duke is most likely leaving after his junior year.... RB's dont alst long in NFL he needs to get as many years as he can. You say studs coming out of SFL..DO you not realize we lave lost The two best runnign backs the last two years out of SFL (Michel, ALex Collins) who were both big time canefans..IF u think we can afford to keep swinging and missing your mistaken. Dixon was making plays on the defensive side too and was pretty physical.

Any way you spin it, not getting Cook would hurt. Watch the play where he turns a fumbled snap into a first down. He's a special playmaker

That was Yearby on that 30 yard run

The play at the 4:00 mark in the 2nd Quarter. Cook, picks up a shotgun snap dribbling on the ground, gets through the wash, and turns into a 20 yard gain. Very impressive

Yearby is slippery as **** and very hard to get a clean shot on. I just feel like he has a lot of side to side movement, whereas Cook can make one cut and be gone. Yearby racks up some impressive 10, 20, 30 yard runs - Cook has the ability to make those 60 yard TD's.

I don't understand the "we don't need Cook" comments. At any position, I want us to get as many talented playmakers as we possibly can.

On top of that if Duke ends up being as good as we think he can be, he be gone by his junior year. If we would have gotten that cheerleader last year I would agree with you but we did not and therefore need two studs this year. I don't consider Powell and every down RB at the next level either. Bottom line we need one more RB, and it is painfully obvious.

I'm not sure you can say someone is a big time Cane fan and they go and sign with someone else. A recruit may have like the Canes, but I would ID Duke as a big time Cane fan. Cook and Sony...not so much. I cannot stand to see players faces who are clearly going to other schools on the front page of the web site. Reminds me of listening to WQAM and you have the Gator and FSU alumni radio host doing the "objective" canes talk. Let them try that crap in Tally or Gainesville. They would be fired if they emphasized UM and looked at the home teams "objectively".

When I read Tito's comments on Cook it really just starts making me think about how the perception of Miami has taking a hit with these kids over the last ten years. We really need to start winning again or it's going to get worse with some of these kids. Cook was probably 5 years old last time we won anything.
