Ahhh you do know DVD was a CB coach under Manny? Yes, he was paired with what’s his face that went to Bama.. but still, Manny realized he was one of his best recruiters and needed him to be off staff so he wouldn’t lose him.

Basically a bunch of schools would do the same.. I don’t think he’s ready to be the full time CB coach either.. but you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think coaches are put on that all the time, due to their recruiting abilities. And not so much do to their coaching abilities.

Basically proving my point. Manny hired 1st time coach to be a position coach. It’s different if he had been groomed for 5 years then got a job. You can tell Mario is definitely grooming him.

I went to a few practices while he was CB coach. He barely said a word. Just directed traffic. manny had to make
Him a coach bc there wasn’t $$ to pay him. Now that there is $$ there is no need to name him a coach. He might be the highest paid non-coach recruiter.
