DVD on the road recruiting?

DVD man of the ppl. They say Florida had a team bus headed to the game but don’t see any Florida coaches kicking it in the stands with friends and family!

They can give him a pay bump and keep him in recruiting why would DVD be mad at that if he is enjoying his role and sees the bigger picture. Take care of him financially and I’m sure he will be fine. He gets to start home and continue to watch his kid grow up playing ball. Why uproot and move just to go in field possibly at a smaller school? I think he stays even if he doesn’t move on field next year
That's what I would hope for but I think he has to see a path to being an on field coach and that's why I mentioned having somebody like Corey Raymond there to mentor him for 2 years.

Going to be really interesting to see what Mario does with DVD.

Don’t think you can keep him as just an analyst for long.. every program is going to throw big bags at him.
DVD is already making big bags here. No G5 can afford him currently. Is a P5 school going to pay him 500k and he doesn’t have a real resume? Mario has him locked in. If anything he’s being groomed. Mario couldn’t just give him the job with barely any experience.

You don’t think a power 5 team wouldnt put someone who’s viewed as a mainly really good recruiter on staff?

Then you must not follow much college football.

You’re right but this being his school should give us an edge for a while.

he's not a DB coach, too nice and soft. he's perfect for recruiting. .pay him all the money he wants but keep him off the field.

i don't see him leaving miami and leaving his kid(s) behind.

With essentially no experience? Please show me a guy with no experience but seen as a great recruiter get a P5 job with pay at 500k

Ahhh you do know DVD was a CB coach under Manny? Yes, he was paired with what’s his face that went to Bama.. but still, Manny realized he was one of his best recruiters and needed him to be off staff so he wouldn’t lose him.

Basically a bunch of schools would do the same.. I don’t think he’s ready to be the full time CB coach either.. but you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think coaches are put on that all the time, due to their recruiting abilities. And not so much do to their coaching abilities.
