I'm not so sure. You don't just shake a case of fumble-itis in one week. He was probably dropping stuff on the plane back from Tampa. Then, he probably dropped his books on the way to class yesterday.

Golden was concerned that we were getting bored out here, so he gave us a little sumpin, sumpin to rant about. Every D has gamed planed for Duke by putting helmets on his hat. The refs have not been calling anything. In USF game on the one screen pass Duke dropped, he was defenseless receiver, got helmet to helmet hit and no flag. USF dude should have gotten thrown out. Al might be pushing Duke, but I'm betting it is more to boost Crawford and mess with everyone else.

Maybe he is making point about fumbles, but I if a recall, Al was raving about Duke's ball security a little while ago. Duke has no history that I know of, although he has reached out for several TDs the last 2 years. Boy loves to score. Duke is and will be THE STAR of this team as long as he is here. Dude dropped a 100 yard KO return on USG. He is beyond special. Golden needs to yank refs necks about the helmet hits Duke is taking.
 
He did what a HC is supposed to do, challenge every mother ****** on the team to get better and be accountable.

Duke is our best player and he's going to play a lot of football on saturday, but the message needed to be sent.

This is what Duke needs to do more of again this year.... now he's trying to run over everybody, which is why he's having these "health" issues.

Get back to doing more of this and he'll be fine.
 
It is genius that AG would make this statement to his team at a time where we are really feeling ourselves after dominating teams like we have. It is consistent with what he has been preaching to our boys since he got here. We have got to play to a standard. If you beat a team 70-0 but did not play to a high standard, all you have done is waste your time playing a bad team.

How many interceptions has Morris thrown this year?
Would one fumble where he tried to stretch the ball out, and another fumble in a play which was a clusterfuuck from the snap, mean one of the best backs in college has a fumbling problem?

Get a grip.

What does Duke have 3 fumbles in like 200 touches? So, he fumbles 1.5% of the time he gets the ball or to put it in a more appropriate number: Duke is 98.5% secure with the ball.

Anyone who now thinks Duke's abilities and potential are now tarnished should go finish off their lobotomy.

Seriously. It's not like Duke suddenly turned into Sammy Smith at the goal line.
Had 2 bad carries in a blowout victory.
Looks to be an aberration versus the norm.
Golden is holding him accountable.
Golden also said that Dukes had great practices this week, and that nobody is harder on Duke than Duke.

Just a temporary blip on the radar screen. Gone once the next pulse is generated.
