Unfortunately, you are probably right. Without Cam, the team would have a losing record with its inability to stop big passing plays.

I still have faith in the defense this game. I think that catastrophe of a drive was more a function of playing so many backups

Starting defense has been perfectly fine.

Not sure why the entire second team was in last drive, but stop here and we’re back on schedule. This Duke offense has run some variation of slants or go’s every passing play. It’s very vanilla

I’m not saying run the ball every down, but for the love of God, when your defense has struggled and they come out strong, leading to a 14-0 lead…bleed the freakin clock and make them stop Fletcher and Martinez…then go to the air if necessary. It just makes zero sense the way we have been running against them

We need physical and speedy defensive backs. That effort by Porter was pathetic and jump started the td drive.

I’ve noticed we’re lining them up in the backfield more to help with blocking.

Arroyo is a weapon, Williams and Lofton (matchup nightmare). Need to scheme for that.

All I see are Horton slants (good) and downfield throws. On 3 and short, we shouldn't be chucking the ball 30 yards down field every time.

They are a bad team as evidenced early on but we have a way of just being equally questionable for long stretches. I’m not worried but can’t do this **** against anyone decent
