Really, the rap on Mario has been poor game coaching, poor scheming in preparation for a game. Great recruiter, but loses games that should be wins. Time for him to recruit better assistant coaches, break open the bank to pay for the best. Then let them do their job while he recruits.

Mario isn't the defensive coordinator. Guidry is the one people should be mad at. Keeps playing man defense with **** poor cover athletes. Cam wasn't good at all the first half. That isn't Mario's fault either. Have to remember most of the talent Mario has brought in aren't on the field yet. The roster still isn't there yet and that's easy to see

buck stops at the top. This was Cristobal’s second DC hire at UM. You get one mulligan. He used his.

Honestly this is just the same Mario coached team we have seen the first two years, poorly coached and constantly making mistakes. They just have an elite QB who carries them week to week. Give them a Brad Kaaya type of QB and they are probably 4-4 or 3-5 right now
