The same posters keep making excuses after every game…just win idgaf, the defense actually tightens up second half, mopes are complaining just to complain, etc.

Like if you’re surprised at what you’re seeing, I mean you clearly didn’t want to accept the results of the past month+.

This is a 7-6 team without Cam Ward, which is really, really concerning going into 2025. I wonder what type of conversation we’re having if we don’t land Ward.

Jonathan Brewer is in his BAG right now against us. Duke is outside the top 105 in offense nationally, LOL.

But whatever, just win I guess.

I don't disagree. Our defense is beyond concerning, but it's no secret that a talented QB is the difference between winning games and not. Could make that 7-6 argument for lots of teams over the past few years.

Honestly I'm just enjoying the ride.

Earlier in the season I was getting super worked up about it, but it's clear that this defence is BAD. We're not winning anything with this unit, so I'm just enjoying the wins.

Shame we have to lose at home to Diaz (or win in a squeaker when he deserves nothing but pain in his life), but there you go.

So this offense is not having problems today since those first two drives? Can't out score Duke that seems like a problem to me

Well the book is out on #1 on defense. He gambles on the run and that regularly keeps him out of position in pass defense.
Do we have anyone else? We cannot defend a screen because our scheme is to sell out in the call. There’s no read and react so play action or misdirection kills us.
