Both actually. Bowl games are not a great comparison of head to head as compared to in season play. Its analogues as the last decade comparison of BSU. How would they survive in a real conference? The TAMU/Duke game tells me exactly what I already knew. The coaching staff of Duke is top notch, and that Duke would get destroyed and not even play close to those top 4 teams as TAMU did had they played back to back week to week. Bowl games are a 4 week prep and just from watching many bowl games through many years, not all staffs take it as serious unless they are playing for a NC. OU made a big deal out of beating Bama this last year. I don't give it the same weight as normal in season game or actually playing for something. College ball is based off emotion as well as coaching. If your heart isn't in it, you can see it on the field.
