I'm being ambitious but I'm confident that D:neonu:ke is coming out loaded for bear this year gentlemen....

My 2013 Stat Projections (12 games):

1,450 rush
17 rush TD

600 rec
3 rec TD

1 KO/Punt TD

Heisman Trophy? "Johnny Football" did it as a freshman...let's not forget 11 plays over 50 yards for our boy in 2012. That is a gamebreaker in the dictionary!

Let's see what happens....

Wow, fearless prediction my friend. But I admire the confidence.

2300 total yards

20 tds

over 6.5 a carry...

guy hasn't even had a full offseason of conditioning yet and look what he has already done...

I'll go 1150 rushing. This is based on us getting Alex Collins. If we don't get him, Duke will get a little more. Maybe 1300-1400. I wouldn't expect we would overload him either way.

600 yds recieving. Kinda high, but I think Duke is the type of guy that improves aspects of his game in the off-season and I'm hoping this is one he focuses on. That KST game could've gone better for us if he didn't drop some balls that would've been TD's IMO if he catches them. Our whole offense needs to master all kinds of RB screens also IMO. Duke is perfect for the screen game.

His return game numbers are hard to predict because IDK if the coaches would rather have some of these other guys do more there and take some of that load off of Duke. I still think he houses 2-3 kicks though.

Alex Collins looks like the Predator in his highlight reel running over those little boys, but I think Duke is the feature back next year bar none, and gets 90 percent of the carries - workhorse RB style.

I say that because like one of the replies says above, we're going for W's this year or bust....Golden needs to win and win often this year or we're going to be sitting here next year calling for Cristobal to take over. Personally think that Golden deserves 2013 and 2014 to prove himself but let's be honest - if he goes 7-5 again this year, everyone will call it a failure.

Bottom line prediction: We go as far as Duke carries us. 20-28 touches a game or we can forget 2013 as being a contender.

1300, 15td's
475, 4td's
2 KO td's, 1 vs Uif::alien::

This seems reachable.

My concern is that we won't see Duke on KR if we don't get Collins on board. Have to believe that the staff may try and limit his touches in the return game.

Our offense will be potent. I think we're all confident about that. If our OL stays healthy I think Duke ups up xBox numbers next season. I also think that because defenses will key on him - something they were already doing - that other skill position players have an opportunity pad their stats as well.

I'll let you guys know the truth before the start of the season. It's too early for this thread.

Its never to early my dude.. If we avoid major injuries to our players during spring ball and with the announcement of SH and Linder coming back to the OL, do u care to demonstrate your fearless prediction?

Magic ball is ready :
1,250 Rushing yards- 13 TDS (6.5YPC)
389 Receiving Yards- 4 TDS
1 KO,, not because of his raw abiltiies, but because opposing teams will fear the Duke..
and most importantly, <2 fumbles for the year..
Heisman candidate? TBD..

I already demonstrated my predictive powers when it comes to Duke. Like i said, i'll revisit this one in August.

Time to revisit this gem.

What ya'll got?

I'll give Duke similar stats to Jamaal Charles and Kenjon Barner's last years in college.

Car. - 257
Yds. - 1,792
Avg. - 6.9

Rec. - 26
Rec. yds. - 290
Avg. - 11.1

Heisman Finalist!

Love the optimism but I don't see any way Duke gets 250 carries, Miller only got 227 his last year here. You wanna keep him fresh. Around 215-220.
