Duke Highlights--Can't stop watching

His cutting ability, vision, and stiff arm are as good as I've ever seen at his age. I think he's the best RB in college football right now.

Daniel Jeremiah with nfl.com put out 50 most talented college players regardless of class, didn't have Duke top 50. Nor did he have Morris. I can see the argument maybe for Morris in there, but Duke has to be. With that Morris should be abov some QB's he listed.

For the past 2½ months, I've pored over as much video as possible to compile my list of the 50 most talented players in college football. This list will continue to change and evolve as I study more teams and more players over the upcoming season. As you'll notice, some of the names on this list are very recognizable, while some are very much under the radar. One thing is certain: There is no shortage of talent at the collegiate level. Especially in the SEC. Particularly at Alabama.


Would love to see his analysis vis-a-vis what he "pored" over.

Here are the RBs who made it in over Duke Johnson:

Lache Seastrunk (Baylor)
Ka'Deem Carey
Deanthny Thomas
Todd Gurley
TJ Yeldon

Some great NFL prospects there, but DeAnthony Thomas, as one example, can't even see Duke Johnson in terms of being NFL prospects.
 
I say at least 1,400 yards on the ground, 16 rushing td's. He will prob return 4 -5 on KR. He's incredible.

Impossible to say without knowing what the heck Coley is going to do. FSU rushed the ball 513x last year. EJ Manuel had 20% of that workload, though. I don't think Morris will get a similar amount. Lonnie Pryor grabbed like 10% or so of that. I don't think Hagens is as good, but I can see him grabbing 30-40? I think we'll try to rush the ball over 400x this year. Not sure who, of the RBs, can step up.

I can see Duke getting something like 240 carries for about 1400+ yards and 15 TDs. I can see him catching 35 balls for 300 yards or so and 2 TDs. Reduced KOR touches.
 
I am not seeing all the rushing yards you cats see. Im thinking 1100 is a realistic number. He isnt gonna be a 20-25 carries a game back. He will get that many touches but not carries. He is a stud out there but I think your expectations are a tad high.

Love Duke he's in the top 5 but not number 1 as of right now. Kadeem Carey, Gurley, Yeldon, Black Mamba, then Duke..

Thats why i said 1200 yards rushing.. Duke will also have lots of screen passes and some KR yards. He's an All purpose back like a Bush, Faulk, or Warrick Dunn

If he gets 1100 yards, that means he got something like 180 carries. The rest would get like 200? It would mean there's a good chance that we're in the deep 80s or 90s in the nation for rush attempts. If true, FML.

Its the schedule really. He's going to get fat on some **** *** teams this year but I agree, 1400 yards is lofty but not out of reach.

exactly in 3 of the first 4 games Duke could have almost 500 yards rushing already. FAU, Savannah st, and USF are going to be beyond horrible. He might have 200 at halftime of the Savannah st game they are the worst team in all of D1 football.

If healthy, I think I'm undershooting it. The team absolutely needs someone to eat up 225 or more carries.

If we have 4 backs getting carries Duke getting 15 or so carries a game isnt a stretch. He will get his touches and be close to 2000 total yards this year. If Duke goes over 1100 yards I wont be surprised.
