Wtf happened to no trolling or other shenanigans on the recruiting and football boards?!?!

reference golden's quote about the % of kids that were from SF on the 2001 NC team and compare them to today's roster. relax.

Tracy Howard said it best: "Why not win in my hometown?"

Actually Al Golden put the right emphasis on this after Tracy announced; "Don't be afraid!", Al said, "don't be afraid".

Like it so much I put in my signature.....

duke is more of an abberation than a card played right by the staff. previous staff was tarred and fethered for not keeping local kids home yet people appear to be giving current staff a pass. you need to draw a line in the sand before points a and b can be discussed.

what will ultimately determine golden's success will be keeping these kids home.

Troll. Troll. Troll.

First 3 Kids in 2014 are from SF BTW.

In 2012 we had 33 kids 15 from SF and 25 from Fla.

let's not count the chix yet after the bryant and collins early commitments.

Irrelevant to the point.

sick of the reasoning that early commits don't hold and we shouldn't be confident. Previous years will be considered an exemption to the rule, once sanctions are behind us other schools will lose the ability to continuously harass our commitments with bogus lies about us getting the death penalty. And using that same reasoning then we should have a great chance of getting Cook, Jojo and any other kids committed to other schools this early.

Duke has one of the best attitudes I have seen in a star player in a while. Kid is putting in work, look out next year.

i think we are equally lucky that the first year of all this NCAA garbage we bring in Duke and Golden. Without those 2 coming in when they did, we would be in a miserable situation. We should all light una velita and thank god for the U getting these 2 when they did.

he sounds mad as ****. why do people think these kids should go to a school just because they live in the area? i never do get why people get all butthurt over some 18 yr. olds decision, those cats have to do what's best for themselves. people say all the time when referencing careers or whatever to take the emotion out of it and make a business decision, so why shouldn't these kids look at it the same way? **** some of the best miami players ever grew up fans of other teams. portis for example was a diehard florida fan but spurrier wouldn't give him a chance to play tailback. kellen winslow didn't want to go to miami originally and had to compromise with pops. y'all gonna bash them too? are they not 'real' canes or fans?
