Thats how many host feel when they take their visit and then give bs to guys like Duke and that's where Luke and others need to stfu because the recruits aren't loyal
 
Love The Duke. That dude should be crowned Mr. UM all 4 years if they still have a Mr. UM ceremony at the school like they did when I was there. He should be UM's version of Ms. Howard Stern where that old doped up hillbilly ***** has been Ms. Howard Stern for about 15 years running.

Totally agree with him. Where's the loyalty? Especially with this staff, which is dedicated to developing local talent.
 
duke is more of an abberation than a card played right by the staff. previous staff was tarred and fethered for not keeping local kids home yet people appear to be giving current staff a pass. you need to draw a line in the sand before points a and b can be discussed.

what will ultimately determine golden's success will be keeping these kids home.

Golden stole Artie Burns from Bama and Coley from FSU. Thomas wasn't ever coming and Collins was skerred to play behind D[]_[]KE. Str8 up I feel like the combo of Gus and Corn more than makes up for losin Collins sof ***. I didn't like Keefs trollin ***. Jay-nard is the only kid Golden shoulda had and basically Bryant Young is a more impressive DL coach than Jethro. I'll get mad at AG and Co. if we miss out on all 3 big time SoFLa RBs in 2014 and lose Moten, Clark, and Lane. For now he ain't done nothing wrong.

Agree to an extent. He can miss out on one or two per year, but for the most part, he has gotten the sofla kids he has gone after. People so quickly forget the previous recruiting class which was made up of mostly sofla kids.

First 3 Kids in 2014 are from SF BTW.

In 2012 we had 33 kids 15 from SF and 25 from Fla.

It wasn't the previous staff that was tarred and FEATHERED, it was the previous coach, and not so much for not keeping the local kids home but for losing heinously.
Also for looking completely clueless while losing heinously.

Now in hindsight we see that Shannon alienated all the local HS coaches except a few of his buddies, ran sub par practices according to Alonzo, allowed our strength and conditioning to plummet to all time lows according to his successor.
The list of Shannon's failures is well known but there is one other that may or may not be his fault: The Shapiro scandal culminated under his watch.

In 3 recruiting classes Golden has signed 26 kids from Dade Broward and Palm Beach Counties and 15 from the rest of Florida.
To me that doesn't look like he's neglecting South Florida or Florida in general.
He might be neglecting BTW and Northwestern as we've only gotten 1 commit from those two under Golden's watch, but the last time I checked BTW and NW weren't part of the University of Miami and Al is under no obligation to always take their kids.

This whole, "can't keep the local kids home," thing is a illusion created by a few local coaches with personal agendas. The media ran with it and created an issue when there really isn't one.

NO. Previous staff got tarred and feathered for NOT TRYING. Kid wanted to look around and Randy basically said "ok then, potato". Golden and staff stayed on these kids from the start, through games played, through decommittments, and DESPITE the ghetto mafia undercutting many of his moves.
