I don’t think anything has changed here since he entered.

This beats any Crystal Ball.
We need him to stay focused on football where his ceiling is considerably higher. The team needs it and whether or not he knows it his future is brighter on this path.We have the better baseball program out of our competitors if he wants to play 2 sports.
I’m just making the point if he also wants to play baseball we offer the better package. He is a decent bb player from what I heard. We need him to stay focused on football where his ceiling is considerably higher. The team needs it and whether or not he knows it his future is brighter on this path.
I hear you, but my point is that if he isn’t focused I’m not sure he helps us. Lane already talked about how it was a challenge.I’m just making the point if he also wants to play baseball we offer the better package. He is a decent bb player from what I heard.
If that is the reason he signs you take it. We have had successful football players play baseball w/o issues in the past.I’ll be more excited if he isn’t playing baseball
Hack Daddy Malone a suitable nickname? We have the better baseball program out of our competitors if he wants to play 2 sports.

I keep hearing he wants to play both. Not sure if he also talked to baseball people while at UM. Part of his recruitment at Ole Miss was meeting with bb coaching staff as well as football. So he’s pretty serious about it and his numbers in limited action show he has a legit future at baseball if he wants to focus on that.I can see why he doesn't just want to give it up. I wonder just how much 'baseball' hr has to do to be a DH and part time 1B?
