Can you read good? I can't make it any more clear that extreme heat may have been a contributing factor, and not the only reason Barrow would consider exiting. Also, he's spent the past 4 years of his life north of the Great Lakes and had likely become accustomed to those conditions. To go from temps in the 60s upon taking off to 110 upon landing may have had an impact. May have......May have.

Barrow really is a key piece, so if anything his return and subsequent announcement will provide another opportunity to spike the ball in everyone's face....again. We truly own the offseason.

This past weekend was gorgeous up here in PBC. Mid 80's with a nice breeze. Sat out by the water and had lunch yesterday. It's the only reason to stay here now.
A front passed through SoFla this weekend, and I agree it was glorious. But there was **** to pay throughout May.

This jit got a fat bag, im assuming, to pick us over all those other heavy hitters

Gets to Miami, works out a couple of times and then demands another 50K for his dad, which you’d think he would have mentioned in the original agreement, or he’s leaving to walk on at Missouri

We, I’m assuming, laugh at his and his greedy *** pops faces and the kid books a greyhound home

And I would imagine if he is staying we either caved and paid his stupid dad or (hopefully) the kid realized how stupid of a holdout this was with no leverage

I get this right?

It's a bit more complex, and is at least partially related to the issue of how quickly you must recruit Portal players, and how little due diligence is actually done.

Assuming this all is true (and it is too recent for me to know for sure), the $50K was supposedly money that LSU paid to the father in order to steer Barrow to LSU, and that Barrow was not really aware of this until he chose Miami. LSU wants the money back and Barrow is trying to help, though Miami didn't know of this issue in advance.

Regardless, it's still an unexpected bump in the road, whether the bump is innocent or intentional.

Makes sense, I’d seriously doubt they’d sign those papers with lsu for free

Man what a scumbag move by the dad though even though it benefited us

“yeah give me 50K and I’ll deliver my son to lsu”

*lsu pays the dad 50K*

Dude. It's well. "Can you read WELL?" There I got that off my chest.

For real tho, just stop arguing with @TheOriginalCane. I say this for a couple reasons:
1. You're getting destroyed.
2. He's REALLY good at arguing
3. He's relentless like a Sammy pledge on his first panty raid at the panhellenic building. He won't stop, so you probably should.
4. I've seen this movie before. He will get surgical at times while also implementing the patience of a seasoned serial killer in the like of Hannibal Lecter.
5. You really are getting destroyed. Yes Miami is hot.....even hotter in the summer. It rains there a lot also. I think you're missing the real reason - the rain. East Lansing and Augusta do not get the rain that Miami gets and after one of South Floida's notorious downpours, Simeon was found curled up in the fetal position, thumb in mouth underneath the stairs in the old art building by The Pit. Rumor has it that only Sebastian the Ibis (in costume) could lure him out from underneath.
6. I am not employed nor affiliated with Mr. Original, nor am I kissing his lawyer azs. Simply looking out for you @rok

Go Canes :)
