He was already enrolled in classes and he has already been practicing with the team so
It’s very bizarre

Allow me to explain. Kid was at Michigan State. Fine. As a transfer, you can't sign an LOI, you just enroll when you transfer.

The only other agreements I know about would be the "financial aid agreement" and an NIL deal.

So Barrow is in the Portal and is being recruited. Why would he need to sign any kind of a deal with LSU? And what would that deal be? It seems very strange. Before I looked at his timeline on 247, I guess I just assumed he had gone from LSU to MSU, but then I saw he was at MSU all along.

If LSU never enrolled this kid, how can they limit what schools he can attend?

I'm VERY confused at this point.

You sign an agreement to the SEC school you plan to attend and it goes along with the financial aid agreement. You can only sign up for financial aid for 1 SEC school before you have to be released or are subject to the intra conference transfer limitations

We just celebrated signing a kid that transferred to 37 schools in a few weeks and then ****ed around with us until the final buzzer

I was going to do a bit of a post portal wrap up session but was like nah I need to see who actually is on this team for Florida first

Something seems off.... Hard to imagine it was $ when he has only been on campus for a few days. then super odd that everyone is reporting Missouri (maybe just repeating others info) but it seems like this is not a well kept secret and a lot of the journalists know the reason but are not saying. The whole LSU thing is weird, so if we arent going to pay back the cash his dad took from LSU is Mizzou going to? Are they also going to pay us back? or did LSU get mad and just not want him at UM kinda like the S they took we wanted from Marshall and decide to say if your leave UM and go to Mizzou we will release you from repayment? Seems silly and vindictive but something odd for sure happened.
