Not sure why anyone is surprised. Have you folks taken a look across the landscape of college athletics? There are athletes transferring to more than one school within 12 months. It's madness but isn't this what many people wanted? Here it is.

Unless Barrow is a Warren sapp, Jerome brown type of impact player. What’s the big deal, I don’t think one player will make or break the season.
This is college, not the NFL. We don't need a 1st round Dt/NT for them to be a huge difference maker. It's absolutely going to hurt if you're replacing an experienced, draftable, interior player with players that aren't ready to step up.
 
DT and secondary is nowhere near a strength on this team and while Guidry likely can cover it up most of the time this unit needed a veteran like Barrow and it’s a major loss. We can’t spend a year talking about how OL and DL are most important and just assume Horton and Moten take huge steps without showing it.
 
We had two UDFA DTs holding it down last year. Rest assured Guidry will get it done. Miami averages 30ppg and they will win 10.

If they average 40 they’re going undefeated.
