Don't redshirt olsen

If you're only reason for not redshirting Olsen is because you think kaaya will leave, you're an idiot.

Im going to mention this again. My advice:

Do not write off Ryan Williams. He will, in all likelihood be your 2014 starter.


All of this talk of Olson versus Kaaya needs to be kept in perspective IMO. Those two are vying for the 2015-18 starting spots. Aside from the fact that Ryan Williams will give our team the best chance to win in 2014, this will allow the staff to add another quality QB for the 2015 recruiting cycle without the fear of a stacked depth chart.

I think Ryan will be named the starter at the beginning of next year, and it'll be up to him to keep it.
 
I hope whoever WINS the #2 spot gets to play some meaningful snaps in games. I think sometimes you don't get the true feel of gametime in mop up duty. I'm glad the backup isn't a WR or a punter going into the season.

FAU and Sav ST...will see tons of back ups..or its going to be a long year..
 
id say let him compete and if he can win the 2nd QB job behind Morris then forget about a redshirt....

I just think Miami is bringing in too many QBs to redshirt him now.
 
He doesn't look physically ready but he might be talented enough to be our #2 QB.

I'm hoping the Greentree buzz about Crow comes to fruition though because I would rather RS Olsen. A year in the weight room and studying will be good for him. But I don't have any issue burning his shirt if he's clearly better than Williams and Crow.

I don't think there's any chance Williams is our starter in 2014.

I think Olsen could play as a freshmen hes a big kid with a lot of football knowlage hes the coaches son so you know hes tough .... I think its a good idea to let him play and be 2 years ahead of kayaa because there both stars in there own right....
