We dominated the Bears statistically but obviously the big plays given up on defense and Ward seemingly looking for the “big play” kept us from blowing out the Bears.

I need a bye.

All us fans need a bye.

The team needs a bye.

Couldn’t come at a better time.

Agreed it’s been a bit of a circus and this team really hasn’t experienced this type of success.

I’m pretty sure this is the longest win streak of their collegiate careers.

Get into the bye. Self scout, get healthy, get back to the fundamentals.

And get ready for L’ville.

I actually think we dominate them from start to finish.

They saw that play with UF and ran swing passes to RB on the back side of plays. Our LBers crashed down, number 7 missed 3-4 big assignments, number 0 had some bad angles and missed tackles, refs missed a clear out of bounds on one…

Yeah but we did the same thing against Penn State in the Fiesta
- sometimes Stats dont show the entire story

We've been historical bad off byes. Hopefully am extra few days to sell scout and get healthy this time around. Then 1.5 weeks of Louisville prep

Yeah, out of curiosity I'd just looked this up myself....we had almost 600 yards of total offense. Well over 100 on the ground. Dominated time of possession. This didn't need to be such a close game.

They had 25 yards per completion..

I’m telling you if
A) Cam has 1 or less turnovers per game
B) we limit penalties - especially defensive penalties that give them free first downs
C) Play conservative Defense that significantly limits big plays.

We will win out. Our offense is too good.

People talk about situational football wins games. This game was an indication of it. How could you dominate every statistical category yet be down 35-10?

In this and most defenses, im not sure what you do if your safeties can’t fill. In this defense, as I’ve repeated 1000x, I’m not sure what you do if you can’t match up with inside WRs. I guess pray.

Did you watch the first 35 minutes?
