Super suspect so far. From what’s I’ve seen he’s able to get open but that’s a only half the battle lolAnd as a receiver his hands can’t be trusted fully
We need to be back to the point that starters are afraid to miss even a play because the person behind you will take your spot. I think this has already happened at the RB spot. All those guys are motivated. Chaney said as much in his press conference.I was super impressed with the Freshmen. Saw Bobby all over the place. Wayne is going to be a stud with a few more games under his belt. Kelly vector. Popo and Pulliam were hyped up (a little too much LOL). Demari locking down kids, looked better to me than his big bro tbh.
Nowhere else to post this, but "thank god". Some of our older depth guys are just plain mediocre. I won't name names (Lou Cristobal, Logan Sagapolou). And while I love what guys like Chantz and Lichtenstein have done for us, we are still far from a championship team primarily because there's such a big drop-off after our starters at most position groups until you get to true freshmen. ... I'm so happy we are going to be building back-to-back-to-back classes loaded with talent, not this lumpy stuff we've seen since the Butch days, where you've got a few great players and a lot of meh guys.
First one he had it. 2nd one I understood why he dropped it. Got laid out helmet to helmet. Bull**** no targeting called. BCU looked like they were trying to hurt our guysMy dawg Colbie had a rough game. Dropped a TD and Fumbled a 2nd one. Looking forward to him bouncing back.
Maybe Mario finally realized you gotta score as many points as possible in today's footballOne sequence I should've mentioned -- right before the half after Youngs fumble into the endzone. Mario calls all three TO"s, gets the ball back and goes into a hurry-up and lets TVD/Shannon sling that rock all over.
Yes, this was OUR Mario Cristobal doing that
The guy who hates scoring points and doing it too quickly!!!
Things have changed, here....
It’s not the numbers, it’s how he’s doing it…I keep seeing a bunch of media saying “TVD is back to his 21 form”. Those people aren’t paying attention.
He was a gun slinger in 21, sporadic at times, forced the ball to his first option a LOT (Which was normal for a freshman).
23 TVD is different..the precision, the accuracy, the progressions, even his throwing motion - much tighter. It’s not THE numbers he putting up, it’s HOW he’s doing it. He’s breaking the single season TD mark.
