Does Jimmy Graham go down...

Cant believe you guys forgot about Jim Otto

Good call. But Jim Kelly gets the edge. 4 straight Super Bowl appearances, whether he won them or not, is unprecedented. 35,000 yards in the NFL, almost 10,000 in the USFL.

Good call on Jim Otto, although its tough to compare stats from an O lineman to skill position guys. That said:

Jim Otto
* 15 years as a starter in the NFL
* 12 consecutive pro-bowl selections (61- 72)
* Named to the NFL's all-decade team for the 1960's

Jim Kelly's (USFL Stats)
* 2 seasons
* 8200 passing yards
* 83 passing TD's
* 650 rushing yards
* 6 rushing TD's

These are **** near playstation numbers. Im not sure that we can include these numbers is a legit debate. Im reminded of what Pete Rose said when asked about Icharo being the alltime hits leader when you include his numbers from the Japanese league. Rose asked why the the Japanese league numbers count. The reporter said because that's pro baseball too. Pete Rose replied, "Then you should include all of my hits in the minor leagues. So Im STILL the all time hits leader." Valid point IMO.

I think A. Johnson will be the best WR/TE to come out of the U when its all said and done.

I think its hard to pick "the top offensive weapon", because of the different skills involved with each position.

Maybe......
Dre is still doing damage and has a strong chance at ending his career just behind Rice in yds and catches.

He will go down as the best TE to ever play in the NFL if he gets to stat with Drew Brees and Sean Payton for another 5 years. The guy is putting up ridiculous numbers and with a QB and coach in those two it will be hard to stop them for a while to come.

Now he is 32 and here are his stats for 2013:

966 Yards on 72 Receptions and 5 TDs through 10 games which projects to (over 16 games) 1546 Yards on 115 Receptions and 8 TDs

It would be the 4th time he went over 1500 Yards for a season. Rice did it only 3 times in his career, TO never did it.

Today Dre sits at 12220 yards, TO (#2) had 15,934. 3,714 yards behind 2nd place all time. Let's say he gets 580 more receiving yards this season, 3134 behind TO. Over 3 years, that is 1046 yards per season. This could happen IMO because I think he will have 2 more Dre season left and 1-2 more decent years.

Today Dre sits at 890 receptions, Gonzalez (still playing) has 1300. Assuming TG retires and they finish this season the same distance apart as they are now. That would mean Dre would need 410 more receptions to tie TG. It would be extremely difficult for him to hit this number over 4 seasons (103 per season), let alone 3 (137 per season) considering his best year he caught 115 passes. My guess is he will finish 3rd all time with around 1200 receptions.

Yeah my predictions were very rough, plus in the grand scheme of things, Megatron will pass him anyway.

Maybe. I don't see anyone jumping Rice or coming close.
