Do we have any dfference makers at WR? (not just this year)

This is def. one thing to watch as the season goes on, you hope somebody over the course of the season develops into a impact receiver. I don't think anybody knows for sure if we even have one on our roster but sometimes guys develop later in their careers. Like Hank or Streeter from last year.

Lewis seems very, very clever to me. He's already demonstrated many traits of a top tier college skill position guy, like the instinctive plant and burst to find the end zone against Boston College, great awareness near the sideline today, and natural ability as a return man. I'm sure there will be obvious weaknesses as he plays more but right now I'm excited about his prospects.

Overall the small to midsize new guys throughout the roster are impressive. In the glory years I'd always check special teams very carefully because that's where you got glimpses of the talented newcomers, particularly on cover teams. When we were so pathetic a few years ago, to the point Bosher was the hardest hitting and most dependable guy, I knew we were in trouble down the road. But this group gets down there and eagerly finds the ball.

The thing is, you don't really need any amazing WRs to win in college. Sure, it helps a lot and you'd rather have a great WR than have an average WR, but if you can run the ball effectively and have an offense that sets up play action well, your passing game will be fine with guys like Hurns and Malcolm Lewis if they continue to develop. I figured that's what our offense would be because it was to an extent last year, but our OC has gone full ****** apparently -- and I fear our QB has as well.

We may have some of the dumbest fans ever. Scott is a stud. Needs to stop the drops. Dorset is very good. Davon is a very very nice surprise. He balls when the game is on the line. But we have no wr who are good at all. Lol our fan base is stupid.
