Do we have any dfference makers at WR? (not just this year)

Consider me unimpressed by Dorsett. Only has straight-line speed.

Me too. I'm really disappointed in his lack of wiggle/change of direction.

Passing game has yet to put it together between drops and QB inaccuracy. We may have some playmakers from this group down the line, but I seriously doubt someone emerges this year. Just a solid group at best.

Our receivers are fine. Our QB evidentally cant get them the ball.

Our receivers have decent hands for the first time in years.

Waiting for Olsen or perhaps Dewey to take over.

Scott dropped another one right in his hands today.

This should be a solid group. Next year.

I'm far more concerned with Morris' play than the WR play. He looks confused, indecisive, and has happy feet even when he's well protected. He missed on a number of passes, some pretty badly.

Teddy Bridgewater today 19/22 257 yards 3 TDs with 6 min left in the 3rd quarter :ohlord:

The Bridgewater shovel is becoming a signature move. He just had another one vs. UNC

Bummer. We take 18 MNW kids and actually missed on one who actually was decent. (outside of Spence)

dont see a difference maker at WR on the roster right now. one of the FR could end up being that guy but it is too early to tell and none of them blow you away with physical talent.

Hurns was going to do it big. I figure he'll be back this week.

Morris struggled but the WRs need to help him out more. Some of those passes that are high still hit the WRs hands. If you get two hands on the ball you need to catch it. I think the OC needs to help the man out too. More under center play action throws after we actually run the ball a few plays in a row.

Agreed. Now let's see if he puts in the work. He has the highest ceiling of the current group. BUT, I have a sneaking suspicion that Herb Waters will end up being a very, very good college wideout when all is said and done. He's a freak athlete.

I'm intrigued by Scotts potential. Obviously needs to stay focused and limit the drops. Hurns is solid. Dorsett is solid. I think Lewis will be a stud. We don't know what we have in the other fr wrs. I'm not worried about WR at all.

I believe Dorsett can be excellent but we can't get him the ball and we run too many horizontal passes. Nobody would look like a gamebreaker in this offense they all average like 10 a catch.

I've been screaming this for the past few months but we dont have enough elite athletes at WR. We have a bunch of Darnell Jenkins' and Ethnic Sands. Which is fine when mixed with some freaks like Hank, AJ, Moss, etc. Last recruiting cycle we should have taken a speed guy or two instead of Jones or Carter. Hopefully AJL is that explosive type of athlete that we are missing because what we have now is a bunch of 2's and 3's. Although I do like Malcolm Lewis a lot going forward as a good #2.

Our fan base called Hank an average athlete up through the time he was drafted. And Darnell Jenkins was an elite athlete. Lewis, Waters, Scott, and Carter are all better athletes than Sands and his ilk.

How do you know how if Waters and Carter are elite athletes? We havent seen them play. The guys we have right now are no better than B+ athletes and that is not what Miami was built on. Sorry, I call it as I see it

Agreed, guys dont want to admit it for some reason. But honestly we dont have a player that a D coord has to game plan for. Like the guys we have but you cant sit here and expect to be the canes of old and not see we are missing a gamebreaker type at the WR position. Cant have it both ways, we have to go recruit a guy like that
