Do these players care about winning anything...

We've had tons of players leave to be mid round picks. It's garbage. Guys like Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Ed Reed, and Jerome McDougle came back for their senior years yet we have the next guy who is dying to leave to be a third or fourth round pick. Yay!!

Those dudes knew what they had and what they'd get for coming back. Next years team has a ton of potential but will never be mentioned with the 2001/2 teams.

Santana and Reggie Wayne and Damione Lewis came back to Miami after they went 9-4 in 1999. Despite Miami fans' hazy memories it wasn't like it was obvious that we had an NFL team coming back for 2000. We also had kids who didn't leave to be fourth round picks.

Dan Morgan, James Jackson, Leonard Myers, Al Blades...those were the days

Meaningful?

Kaaya and Njoku coming back puts Miami in position to win the Coastal, play for an ACC title.

Beat FSU for first time since 09.

If they were guaranteed top 15 picks, even 1st round locks.

Both would be probably 1st round picks by coming back.

1. I get really tired about hearing about the "goal" of a Coastal Division title. The goal should at the very least to win the ACC.
2. They probably want draft money. Really they should be looking out for their personal interest not the interest of Miami.

It's not a guarantee their draft stock will be better next year anyway. They really should only stay if they feel they're going to have a big year that raises their stock. If they're every bit as mediocre next year as they were this year they're not going to get drafted higher.

Kaaya came up as big as you can against FSU on fourth down this year and his team let him down.

That was a clutch throw (probably the most clutch play he's ever made), but he also threw a horrendous end zone INT that completely flipped the momentum. If we go up 20-3, the game is over. Even a FG to go up 16-3 might've been enough with the way our defense was playing.

Yeah, if if if. He's a college qb. He's not going tonplay a perfect game.

I don't expect perfection. I'm just saying that was one of the most critical moments of the game, and he made an awful play.

I think it's pretty obvious Kaaya and Njoku can improve a lot next season.

In fact playing with each other could be very beneficial for both moving up in the draft.

This is the most loaded TE draft Ive seen in a long time.

One draft site has Njoku as the 6th rated TE.

He could be #1 next season.

A lot more money to be gained there.

I'll never forget Reed's quote on the court house steps after the the victory parade. "I'd come back next year if they let me". He was a graduated senior.

Nope they don't care, no pride for the program for which they play. They didn't sacrifice anything, if they had love for their school and the game they play they would strive to reach the pinnacle with their brothers in arms, not run for the $$$.

Kaaya is a 3rd/4thrd pick all day long...Njoku is 2nd rd...

I can see Njoku leaving but Kaaya? Major mistake. If so, I'm ready to roll with Allison.
