DMoney going live

I don't know if Emory is any good or not. But if my choices are believing the guy who talks to people at practice and some dude on the message board who is just in his feelings, I think I'll take the former.
Yeah, because what the staff has said and what DMoney has said has been accurate and turned out exactly how the talk went.

Ain't nobody in his feelings here. Call it like I see it. Never a single negative word about this program.

Already had the “Emory is impressing everyone in practice” quote of the day. Rinse and repeat.

That’s the good stuff

Truth teller- aren't you German? Do they say "Aint nobody in his feelings" on that side of the pond?

I'm giving you guys the truth. People in the building like Emory. Players like Emory. I have more concerns and have voiced them on here. Some say I'm anti-Emory and some say I'm pushing the Emory narrative. They need to pick one.

My read is that we are going to aggressively pursue a Portal QB, even as Emory has fans in the building. Let's see how it plays out.

The **** is this supposed to mean? Am I not allowed to write english? 😂😂😂Are we back to "The German isn't allowed to use certain words"?

Yeah, right. Cool story.

I was half listening while on a work call, but did I hear something along the lines of we can win the ACC with Mendoza? We couldn't win the ACC with Cam freaking Ward and all the skill weapons we had this year, but we are going to win it with Mendoza?

Apologies if I misheard that, and if that's the route we go I hope I am proven horribly wrong.

Do people just want our staff to come out and say Emory sucks? Is that what you do to a kid who’s beloved by his teammates?

I don’t trust Emory, he’s a cool dude and seems like a good locker room guy so I understand why everyone likes him. But on the field I trust my eyes and he’s not it. Throw Luke in there year 1 and chalk it up as a lost season. If he’s bad you go into the portal again the following year for a proven elite qb.

On Mel Tucker, " how do you harass the serial harassment spokeswoman ". Had me 💀. Maybe someone with those type of guts us exactly what we need around here 🤷

Emory Williams career stats:

55/83 (66%), 631 yds, 4 tds, 1 int

Kid has thrown 83 total passes. We saw him last in the Ball State blowout (11/12 161 yds, 1 TD). Before that was November of 2023, stinking it up at FSU along with everyone else.

Anybody definitively projecting Emory Williams as a good or bad starting QB in 2025 is just being silly. I liked his skillset coming out of HS. I love Nickel as a prospect. We are virtually guaranteed to have a significant drop in QB production from 2024, portal or no.

Everybody is free to form opinions, but the "Emory ain't it/ride with Emory" crowd are being a little dramatic based on the actual sample size of his work.

Coaches seem to agree as they are expressing confidence in the current QB room while simultaneously looking to upgrade it. As it should be, IMO.

Perfectly stated. This is the exact stance all logical fans should have…
