Been saying it for months. Let’s see what happens in December.I think Mario wins out.. the hometown school normally doesn’t have to work this hard and trust me they’re in Norman sweating.

that's not what Cribby said yesterday.
Did someone actually call those two “mouth breathers” or is this just more of the same old martyr ****???How’s the paint drying? Need another coat after the sky falls again?
Does anyone know why DT recruiting continues to struggle year after year? WR recruiting has picked up under Beard and we’re doing pretty well now. We’ve always recruited well at RB even in our down years so not too concerned there. We continue to load up on edge guys and TE’s. DT, though, is still a major thorn in our side. Is it as simple as Big Joe isn’t getting it done on the trail or is it deeper than that? I think much of it has to do with the fact that the SEC has garnered the reputation of being THE conference where DT’s can thrive and become a first round draft pick. Somehow we need to change the narrative, and LT should help with that at next year’s NFL draft.
Yup. 3* WRs hit at a much higher rate than 3* DTs.Just a guess but there are more WR's available than DT's. Competition for DT's is more intense...JMO

Miami hurricane
Meh. With the transfer portal..it’s not a bad thing to finish 2nd anymore. But I get your overall point. There are no silver medals in recruiting.
I know Stone is a battle and we’re the underdog. I know we’ve missed on a handful of dudes lately as we swing for the fences against the top programs in the country. Maybe our NIL is not as deep as we had hoped.
But **** I didn’t expect fans to just lay down on the railroad track to die. Mario’s not doing that. And it’s not like he has lost all the major battles either. You think those programs just gifted us Trader, Lightfoot, Riley et al.?
I love the fact we keep battling. I love the fact we’re in it for all these Top 100 kids and never concede. It’s a slugfest right now and we’re bloodied. But we’re still in the ring and getting our punches in.
I did hahaha. Everytime i hear it i laughDid you mean this to be as absolutely ******* hilarious as it was? It’s hard to tell here sometimes
can you please remind us what you was your stance?
This kid is trolling hard.
Miami won’t even finish in the top 3 for him.
Amazing hahaI did hahaha. Everytime i hear it i laugh
I think you've answered it yourself. If it's year after year, it can't be Big Joe. He's only been here since Mario came. We had this discussion going back to the Golden years.Does anyone know why DT recruiting continues to struggle year after year? Yeah, theres not many elite ones & the ones there are fetch top dollar & are desired by every school in the country & are at the top of everyones boards.Does anyone know why DT recruiting continues to struggle year after year? Really rooting for Mama to win out on this one.I won’t predict anything yet but I believe it’s closer than most think.
3stario already has a solid back plan project sleeper waiting when miami finishes in the "almost had em" category once again. Some one said it best, OU pulled his IMG teammate and still is working too hard on this one. I know they must be sweating. This kid could be the surprise commit we need to get some positive momentum going.
