UGA and Bama ran away with it last year. Texas had an elite class but a notch below those two. Then after that there were a bunch of schools, us being one that had top tier classes. The other thing to look at is average. Taint didn’t have a top 3 class but per recruit their class was on the level of the top 2. Also the way 247 runs things, they might as well just get rid of stars, it’s all about the actual rating. A 4 star .89 is way way way different than a .97 4 star. So while Lofton maybe a 4 and Pruitt maybe a 3 there isn’t all that much separating them.I was curious (aka bored) to see the gap in scores so I took a peak at last years composite final rankings from 247 and looked at the difference in tiers of 5 team blocks
#1 327.65 vs #6 288.43 (39.22 differential)
#6 288.42 vs #11 273.43 (14.99 differential)
#11 273.43 vs #16 255.88 (17.55 differential)
#16 255.88 vs #21 234.22 (21.66 differential)
#21 234.22 vs #26 223.59 (10.63 differential)
#26 223.59 vs #31 212.43 (11.16 differential)
