This will be top 5 DL class in nation at the very least. If a piece or two work out, it’ll be top 2…..and I’m being conservative. We will be up there with the Bama’s and Georgia’s of the world.
After all media writers and inside sources (except Cribby) said that Mauigua was signed, sealed and delivered to Tennessee only for him to commit to the good guys..I don’t know how any poster can doubt Mario until the ink is dry! Smh

I talk with several of you outside of the board and the consensus among all of the people who are in the building or get info I’ve come to trust all say the same thing:
This class is going to end up between 12 and 5. If the teams really has a great season and wins 10 games, it’ll settle into that 5 area. If it has another rough year, it’ll be in that 12 area.
Mario and staff are just that good at recruiting that they’ll get a solid class no matter the results.
But- and it’s an important but- the difference between 12 and the top-3 is the difference between 12 and the 40’s in top-end talent.
We are seeing the Georgia’s, Alabama’s, Ohio State’s take it up a notch with 5-stars.

If were just shooting the **** here to pass the time, I’d guess we finish in the 7 to 12 range. If we finish outside of that, something went really right or really wrong during the season.

That’s where I’m at as well. There’s a few teams that will just lock down the top spots and a couple of risers this year that will probably beat us but I think the numbers themselves won’t be a big difference between say 4-10
So a couple of guys here and there can move things quite a bit
I was thinking 6-10 but 7-12 same kinda deal. I know I shouldn’t do this to myself but I just can’t envision a scenario where we don’t improve drastically on the field unless we are just ravaged by injuries

This has always been my expectation 7-12, anything outside of that is that something unexpected happened. Either we significantly outperformed expectations or **** the bed again

An amount of wins does not dictate where the class lands. How bought in/improved the team looks to the naked eye means way more.

No idea if this is historically consistent but yeah, once you get outside the top 5 big guns, a couple of prime players and/or a big class could vault you into another tier.
