Good comp. Pickett has the added bonus of producing at receiver plus 3 inches of height.
I think Campbell was probably faster but like you said Pickett is much taller and has longer arms.

247 has his comparison as Nahshon Wright who has pretty much the same height & wingspan.

From the LSU 247 board:

" DJ Pickett, Kaliq Lockett and Jaime Ffrench spent a lot of time together on Day 1. It's no secret that NIL will play a big role with that trio of 5-stars. That may worry some, but LSU can be competitive with high school kids and I'm told has a good presentation to illustrate that. I've mentioned it before, but LSU's NIL program is built more towards the big picture and showing multi-year plans than the one-hit wonders that come from the transfer portal."

Seems Corey Raymond got Patrick Peterson to "drop by" this weekend for their OVs...

"... the entire family will be in Baton Rouge this weekend alongside five-star cornerback DJ Pickett, who will be hosted by Jardin Gilbert. That's a positive sign. As of today, Pickett is eyeing a commitment date for October so he's far from a final decsision. That said, most believe he'll land at LSU or Miami when that time comes."
