That’s fair, I love Miami just as much as anyone but our GD atmosphere on average isn’t our strong point, but he has to see how the Freshman corner from StA has played, same NIL opportunity as the “big” schools

We are in the top tier. That is not speculation. If you distill down all the factors, our conference (and consequently, our schedule and home game atmosphere) is the only reason we are not pulling top 5 classes. If you put Miami in the SEC, no one would out recruit Miami right now.

Our schedule did us no favors this year. Our marquee game was against the worst FSU team in a century. 2017 taught me that if we get big games at home, the atmosphere is elite. The issue is either we are *** or the rest of the conference is. Limiting our ability to get good games in prime time slots.

I am talking about a top Defensive back or WR that is top 5 in the country that we really want (i.e. Jeremiah Smith, KJ Bolden, Pat Surtain (understood it wasn’t Mario, hence why I said Miami, etc).

This includes all head coaches recently (Richt, Manny, Mario).

What’s wrong with KJ Bolden?

Granted, he was an FSU flip we all laughed about but just discussing in general top DBs we targeted. We weren’t in that recruitment and Perhaps he wasn’t the best example I could’ve came up with on the spot but I was referencing that type of impact top recruit that is an impact freshman.
